[You'd Look So Cool Singing These!] Popular Karaoke Songs Recommended for Women (41–50)
beautiful womanchanmina

This is a song by Chanmina that’s guaranteed to turn heads when you sing it at karaoke.
It carries a powerful message that challenges society’s imposed standards of “beauty.” Released as a single in April 2021, it’s also included on the album Harenchi.
Her raw, unfiltered performance on THE FIRST TAKE became a major talking point as well.
It’s perfect for when you want to strongly affirm yourself or blow away the frustration.
Grab the mic and give it a try!
Tot MusicaAdo

Ado’s masterpiece “Tot Musica.” This work is crafted as a hard rock track with elements reminiscent of gothic rock and gothic metal, and it makes extensive use of full-fledged shouts in the chorus.
As was the case with early Ado herself, forced shouting can sound contrived.
Therefore, to perform this song well, you need to master shouts that arise naturally as an extension of a powerful voice, like Ado’s current style.
If you can produce natural shouts, definitely give it a try.
promiseHirose Kōmi

She’s often called the “Queen of Winter,” and “promise” is also loved as part of that tradition during the winter season.
It features a passionate, dramatic melody and a structure that shows off vocal ability, with a chorus that leaps into the high register from the A and B sections.
I sing it often myself, but the tricky part is definitely the chorus.
It combines a brisk tempo, fast passages, and extremely high notes—all three at once.
Also, it’s easy to speed up in the chorus once you get into it, so aim to sing with enough composure.
When transitioning from the A/B sections to the chorus, try lifting your eyebrows and engaging your facial muscles so the shift in melody feels smoother.
RISE UPNiziU

NiziU is a Japanese idol group that’s not only popular nationwide but also gaining attention in South Korea.
Many women in their teens and twenties probably have their songs on heavy rotation.
Among NiziU’s tracks, the one I especially recommend is RISE UP.
This song emphasizes K-pop elements more than ever, featuring challenging sections characteristic of K-pop.
Whether it’s the mid-to-high vocal parts or the rap parts, every section demands a strong sense of groove, so it will be difficult to pull off unless you can tap into the feel of Western pop music.
W●RKmillennium parade × Shiina Ringo

A track that fuses weighty beats with experimental sound.
Selected as the opening theme for the TV Tokyo anime “Hell’s Paradise,” this ambitious work was born from a collaboration between millennium parade and Ringo Sheena.
It probes deeply into the essence of “work” in contemporary society, with multilayered soundscapes and Sheena’s distinctive vocals blending beautifully.
Released as the single “W●RK / 2045” in May 2023, it has garnered high acclaim, including winning the “Best Collaboration Video” at the MVT VMAJ.
Highly recommended for strong vocalists!
So AddictiveWashio Reina

A digital-only track by Reina Washio, former member of the Japanese female dance and vocal group E-girls, released in February 2023.
It was chosen as the theme song for the drama “Five Ways to Socially Destroy Your Husband.” While the song features a very striking jazzy arrangement and backing track, Washio’s wonderful vocals shine through and hold their own against the acoustic-only instrumentation.
With its complex melodic development, smooth shifts in vocal delivery to match, and the firm incorporation of a jazzy beat, it’s a very challenging song to sing.
Precisely because of that, if you can pull it off at karaoke, you’re sure to draw attention.
It’s a track I highly recommend to those confident in their singing.
Just be careful not to let your sense of the beat flatten out—doing so would ruin the effect—so pay close attention to that as you sing.
Miko of the Flood DragonOnmyoza

A magnificent Japanese-style metal song where Japanese aesthetics collide with heavy metal! Onmyo-za is known as a yokai heavy metal band, and above all, vocalist Kuroneko’s high notes are incredible.
I love Onmyo-za and of course I sing their songs too, but I think “Mizuchi no Miko” might be the highest-pitched among their tracks.
The twin guitars are super cool as well, so it’s highly recommended for heavy metal fans.
When singing it, sustained high notes, Japanese-style melodic inflections, and the challenging vocabulary all raise the difficulty.
First, Onmyo-za uses archaic words and difficult kanji in their lyrics, so you should definitely memorize the lyrics! It might be good to start with their famous “Kouga Ninpou Chou.”
