Meigaku Festival | Nagoya Gakuin University (Nagoya Campus, Shirotori School Building)Aichi Prefecture, Sat 10/17–Sun 10/18

Meigakudaisai, held at Nagoya Gakuin University’s Shiratori Campus in Atsuta—the heart of Nagoya—is a student-led autumn festival that has continued since the 1960s. In its 62nd year, the campus will be enlivened by the vibrant energy unique to this urban campus that brings together the Faculties of Commerce, Economics, and Contemporary Social Studies. Over two days, the campus will be filled with student-run food stalls, stage performances, a caricature exhibition, and more—showcasing the individuality of the students all at once. The festival will take place on October 17–18, 2026, at the Shiratori Campus.

Geikousai | Nagoya City University (Kita Chikusa Campus)Aichi Prefecture, Sat 10/17–Sun 10/18

Geikō-sai, the school festival of the Faculty of Design and Architecture at Nagoya City University, will be held over two days, October 17 and 18, 2026, at the Kita-Chikusa Campus. Led by students studying design and architecture, this event is unique to the Faculty of Design and Architecture, sharing the results of their daily creations and research with the local community. Sugiyama Jogakuen University’s Sugidai Festival is a long-standing campus festival now in its 65th year. Set on the Hoshigaoka Campus in Chikusa Ward, Nagoya, it has been planned and run primarily by the student executive committee. This year’s theme is “Re.Start.” With the intention of taking a fresh step forward, the campus will be wrapped in the vibrant colors of its students. Over two lively days filled with student-led stage programs and food stalls, visitors can experience the unique energy of a cultural festival. The event will be held on October 17–18, 2026.

The Mukogawa Women’s University Cultural Festival is a student-led celebration organized by the Student Association and the Cultural Festival Executive Committee, and 2026 marks its 71st edition.
