Here’s a cute craft idea for making an eyeshadow palette using an empty candy case.
If you’re interested in makeup but it’s still a bit early to try it for real, make this and enjoy the mood! You’ll need a clear plastic sheet, sequins, masking tape, and iridescent film.
Put sequins into the case lid, then attach a piece of the clear sheet cut to the same size and seal the edges with masking tape.
Stick pieces of iridescent film where the candies used to be to mimic eyeshadow pans, make a brush from a straw and a chenille stem, and you’re done!

Everyone loves it! Let’s make a pudding charm inspired by that beloved treat.
For the base, use a clear cup for sweets deco from a 100-yen shop.
Mix brown paint into glue to mimic caramel and spread it on the bottom of the case, then pack in yellow yarn.
Draw the package design on thick paper, cut it into a circle, and attach it to the case.
Punch a hole and thread through charm hardware to finish.
You can also substitute brown yarn for the caramel section.

Many girls probably love wands, don’t they? You often see them in anime with magical-girl themes.
This time, I’ll introduce an idea for making a simple wand.
Thread ten 2 cm pieces of straw and five beads alternately onto a 30 cm chenille stem (pipe cleaner), then shape it into a star.
Twist the two ends of the stem together to secure it, trim any excess, then take a 15 cm chenille stem folded in half, hook it onto the star, and twist it into a single rod.
Slide on a straw and glue it in place to finish.
It might also look cute decorated with washi tape, etc.

How about making your own version of your favorite snack package? First, buy the real product and carefully study its packaging.
Trace the shape onto construction paper or similar, and then recreate everything—the design and the text—just like the original.
After coloring it with pens or other materials, cut it out, assemble it, and you’re done.
It’s a task that requires patience, but the steps are very simple.
Find a package you love and give it a try!
Cute glasses with moles

Let’s make cute glasses using pipe cleaners and straws.
First, think about the shape of the glasses you want to make—try sketching it out.
Round, square, star-shaped—anything you like is fine.
Once you’ve decided on the shape, form it with the pipe cleaners.
A single pipe cleaner isn’t very sturdy, so twist two together into one before shaping.
After the frame is done, thread straws onto the parts that go over your ears, and you’re finished.
If you use the accordion section of the straw over your ears, the glasses are less likely to slip off.
Sweets Deco

How about trying your hand at making cute-looking sweets-themed deco crafts using only items from the 100-yen shop? It’s great that everything—paper cups, air-dry clay, and decorative parts—can all be purchased at the 100-yen store! The whipped cream that forms the base of the decoration is made by mixing wood glue into air-dry clay.
Plus, add some paint to the glue and it transforms into a deco sauce! Combine sauces and parts in your favorite colors to create uniquely original sweets.
If you add items like memo stand parts, it instantly becomes more practical—so give it a try!
Tapioca drink with tape

Why not try making a boba drink using clear gel tape, a craft item that’s been very popular lately? It’s a perfect DIY idea for girls who love stylish projects.
Its charm lies in how realistic it looks, with a finish that resembles food samples.
The method is simple: use liquid laundry starch (or glue) and borax to make a milk tea–colored slime, create a milk-carton-shaped container with gel tape, and add black deodorizing beads to mimic tapioca pearls and square acrylic pieces to mimic ice, then combine everything with the milk tea slime.
It’s a fun craft with a satisfyingly tactile feel that you’ll want to touch forever.
