Magic of a Summer Nightindigo la End

A bittersweet love song about a summer night, where memories of an unforgettable woman come rushing back.
Many listeners may see their own past romances reflected in the lyrics, which portray a single moment of reminiscing with striking humanity and emotion.
The lingering hope that hasn’t quite faded will move anyone caught in an unrequited love to tears.
The sound—at once airy and languid—is wonderfully soothing, turning a summer night into a wistful, slightly special moment.
Apples, Fireworks, and a Sea of Sodamafumafu

Mafumafu, a Vocaloid producer known for incorporating rock elements into his style.
When it comes to summer songs he’s created, “Ringo Hanabi to Soda no Umi” comes to mind.
While using phrases that evoke a festival atmosphere, the lyrics portray the sad events and unfairness in the world.
The comfortable rhythm lingers in your ears, and the words really make you think.
It also has the fast tempo characteristic of Vocaloid, so singing it would likely liven up the crowd.
Try singing it while paying attention to the meaning of the title.

secret base ~What You Gave Me~ZONE

It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to call “Secret Base ~Kimi ga Kureta Mono~” a hallmark of summer.
Known as the theme song for the drama Kids War, it’s also frequently featured on music programs.
The lyrics depict joyful summer days spent with friends and the sorrow of parting.
Singing it not only livens up the mood but might also spark conversations about summer memories.
Although it’s a ballad with a bittersweet theme, it ends by gently suggesting a brighter future, keeping the tone from becoming too gloomy.
Sparklers ~An August Promise~Sonar Pocket

Sonar Pocket’s “Sparklers ~August Promise~” is a love ballad themed around sparklers, a quintessential symbol of summer.
Set in summer on Enoshima, the lyrics depict a couple’s fleeting romance over one summer.
By likening the scenes to sparklers, the song further enhances its summery atmosphere.
Brimming with happiness, it’s recommended for a romantic karaoke outing with your partner.
The inclusion of a rap section also adds just the right amount of excitement.
HOT LIMITT.M.Revolution

Takanori Nishikawa’s solo project T.M.Revolution’s signature summer song “HOT LIMIT.” Released in 1998, the track drew attention for its distinctive outfit that looked like layers of tape wrapped around the body.
While the melody and visuals leave a strong impression, the lyrics are actually incredibly unique too! The song likens a captivating woman met in summer to a mermaid, expressing a desire to dive into an ultra-passionate romance.
In the latter half of the song, producer Daisuke Asakura’s name even makes an appearance.
For summer karaoke, this song—with its fiery melody and lyrics—is the perfect pick!
Somewhere in the summerWANIMA

Many people are probably looking for a summer song that lifts their spirits just by listening.
For you, I recommend WANIMA’s track “Natsu no Dokoka e” (“Somewhere in Summer”).
Its irresistibly upbeat lyrics are captivating, and listening to it naturally fills you with energy.
If you’ve invited someone you like to a summer festival, this song will give you a helpful push.
a thousand paper cranesYūsuke

This is a song by Yusuke, inspired by Senbazuru—the thousand paper cranes, a symbol of Japanese culture—which was chosen as the theme song for the 2019 Kanagawa High School Baseball Tournament broadcast.
Having spent his own youth devoted to baseball, he brings real credibility to a high school baseball theme.
Like a thousand cranes that carry prayers and wishes, his singing conveys heartfelt thoughts and offers a powerful cheer to everyone fighting their daily battles.
