How do you all kill time?
Using your smartphone for the internet or games is the go-to, but even then, there are times when you get bored if you keep doing it, right?
Still, just spacing out and waiting for time to pass doesn’t feel great either.
So how about this: let’s go back to our childhood selves and try some riddles.
I’ve put together questions that should be relatively easy, so give them a shot as a light mental workout.

As you’d expect from something enjoyable for both adults and children, many of the puzzles are quite easy.
That said, there are a few that might stump adults whose thinking has gotten a bit rigid, making it a surprisingly fun experience.
It also seems like it would be enjoyable to work through them together with your child.
A riddle that requires flexible thinking

Kids might actually be better at this type of riddle than adults.
If you have children, it could be fun to tackle them together as a family.
Of course, doing them alone as brain training is also recommended.

There are puzzles you can’t solve by thinking about them in the usual way, and others where the answer becomes easy if you reverse your perspective—but if you’re stuck with the preconception that it’s a riddle, you still can’t solve them.

For those who find it hard to picture riddles when they’re presented only in text, I highly recommend this riddle picture book! It includes illustrations related to each riddle, so I’d love for people who struggle with riddles to give it a try!
