magnetic bookmark

Let’s try making bookmarks with magnets.
Regular bookmarks usually go between the pages you’ve read.
By adding magnets to a bookmark, you can create one that also holds photos or messages.
Place origami, portraits, or photos inside a laminating sheet and laminate them.
It’s convenient to use no-machine laminating sheets—often available at 100-yen shops.
Once laminated, attach a magnet to the bottom part, and you’re done.
It’s a bookmark you’ll enjoy using yourself and one that would make a delightful gift for family and friends.
Resin bookmark

Introducing a resin bookmark with a fresh, crystal-clear look.
Prepare resin liquid, a mold for pouring the resin, flower chips and sparkly beads, and a ribbon if you like.
Pour the resin into the mold.
When choosing the mold, it helps to imagine the bookmark’s shape and the size you want to make.
Add flower chips and the like to the poured resin and let it cure.
Pressed flowers or beads you love would also look adorable.
Once the resin bookmark has hardened, make a hole and thread a ribbon through it if you like—that’s it! It also makes a great gift for someone special.
[Crochet] Flower Bookmark
![[Crochet] Flower Bookmark](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ePfPKQ6nX4o/sddefault.jpg)
We’re introducing a crochet flower bookmark that captures the warm feel unique to hand-knitting.
Gather yarn, a crochet hook, a tapestry needle, beads, scissors, and a threader to get started.
Use the crochet hook and yarn to chain stitch and form the stem and leaves.
Next, make the focal flower.
The key is to crochet the flower carefully to create a three-dimensional look.
Since this will be a bookmark, it’s best to choose yarn that isn’t too thick.
Adding beads to the center of the flower with glue will make it even cuter.
Give it a try!

[Felt] Teacup Bookmark
![[Felt] Teacup Bookmark](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/pQzG5BunktA/sddefault.jpg)
We’re introducing a teacup bookmark made with felt that will turn your reading time into a cozy moment.
Cut a template to the size of the teacup you want, place it on the felt, and cut out the teacup shape.
Sew the pieces together with a needle and thread as you assemble each part.
Stitch the teacup onto a ribbon for the bookmark, then sew your preferred felt piece onto the other end to finish.
The stitching is simple, making this an easy, recommended project even for first-time sewers.

Introducing a stained-glass-style bookmark that lets you enjoy changes in color and appearance depending on the viewing angle.
Cut a clear file into a bookmark shape and draw any design you like with felt-tip pens.
Color it in with colored pens, wrap cardboard in crumpled aluminum foil, sandwich it between the illustrated clear file sheets, and secure the edges with masking tape.
Punch a hole, thread a ribbon through, and your original stained-glass-style bookmark is complete! It would also make a great gift—just slip a message in the back for an extra special touch.
Shaker bookmark

Let me introduce a shaker bookmark that’s fun to watch and listen to with its satisfying rattling sound.
Cut construction paper to your preferred size and decorate it as you like with stickers, etc.
Place the decorated bookmark inside an OPP bag that’s larger than the paper, aligning the edges with the paper, then trim the bag a little outside the edges of the paper.
Fold in the trimmed edges and secure them with masking tape.
Pour sequins in from the top opening, seal the opening with masking tape, punch a hole, thread a ribbon through, and you’re done.
Try making a shaker bookmark that will lift your spirits!
Charm bookmarker

Introducing a charm-accented bookmark whose charm swings while you read.
Prepare a ribbon, jump rings, ribbon end clamps, and your favorite charms.
Fold the end of the ribbon over twice and cap it with a ribbon end clamp.
Place a scrap of cloth to protect the metal and close it with flat-nose pliers.
Repeat the same process for the other end of the ribbon.
Thread the highlight charm onto a jump ring and attach it to one end of the ribbon.
Add a charm to the other end as well to finish.
Customize it with your own flair, attach your favorite charms, and enjoy a delightful reading time.
