Invisible bunny ears headband
These invisible-headband bunny ears are extra cute with their fluffy faux fur.
First, prepare faux fur that matches your wig’s hair color.
Trace a pattern so the finished size will be about 25 cm.
Place it on the faux fur fabric and cut out four pieces, making sure they’re symmetrical left and right.
Pair the pieces and sew along the sides, but leave two openings at the bottom so you can insert two wires into each ear.
Thread the wires in from the inside of the wig, then slide the ear pieces over the wires from above, and you’re done.
Since they’re wired, you can bend and pose them freely—so fun!
Realistic animal ears
Here’s a recommended idea for anyone who wants to make realistic bunny ear headbands.
The video shown isn’t about rabbit ears, but you can use the same method to create realistic rabbit kemonomimi ears! Use a pattern to cut the ear pieces from faux fur fabric and sew them together.
Cut shape-memory plastic sheets into bunny ear shapes and heat them while gently curving them inward to form the shape.
Insert the plastic into the sewn ears, glue it to the fabric, then attach the ears to a headband to finish.
If you want to go the extra mile, you can brush and trim the fur to neaten the texture, and even add color with pastels.
