When you become a high school student, you get busy with studying, club activities, romance, and more.

Even so, there are times when you end up with a little free time while hanging out with friends during breaks or on days off.

In this article, we’ll introduce some easy and fun activities you can enjoy in those moments!

This time, we’re focusing on indoor recreation and games, ranging from things you can do right away without any equipment to card games and board games.

There are options for different group sizes and time lengths, so try finding the ones that suit you best.

Who am I? game

My brain short-circuited at a slightly mean tricky question lol [Akagami no Tomo] Who am I?
Who am I? game

If you enjoy brain-teasing games, I recommend the “Who Am I?” game.

In this game, the questioner pretends to be something or someone, and the players ask questions to figure out what they’re impersonating.

If you choose something very obscure, it can take quite a while to guess, so try adjusting the difficulty.

Limiting the number of questions makes it much more of a brain game, so that’s a great additional rule to try.

Picture shiritori

Picture shiritori

It’s a game called “Picture Shiritori” that really livens things up when you play it with friends.

As adults, we don’t often draw pictures and show them to others, do we? You might even have some ‘masters’ of various kinds in your group.

Unlike when we were kids, we don’t feel as embarrassed about being bad at it, so it gets really fun!

Nanjamonja

Nanjamonja

A card game that tests memory, quick reflexes, and sense.

The rules are simple: players flip cards from the deck in order, and when a character appears for the first time, the player who drew it gives that character a name.

You keep drawing through the deck, and when a card that already has a name comes up, you must say that name; the person who says it first gets the card.

For remote play, choose a game master who shows each drawn card to the camera and awards the card to whoever says the name first.

It’s a simple yet brain-engaging game that’s great for quick breaks or for high school students who can’t go out to play.

Cola-making showdown using only imagination

[Super Hard] Cola-Making Showdown Using Only Imagination!!
Cola-making showdown using only imagination

This is a recreation activity where you make cola that every high school student loves—except you do it using imagination alone, in a cola-making showdown.

It really makes you realize how difficult it is to create something without a recipe.

Drinking what you’ve made will only make things even more exciting.

Finger Smash

Finger guessing with a penalty on the line 👍

‘Yubi-suma’ is a popular game that has long been a staple among high school students during breaks.

In this game, someone calls out a number like ‘Issē no… 4!’ and the participants either raise or don’t raise their thumbs.

If the total number of raised thumbs matches the called number exactly, that player clears one hand.

If they succeed twice, they drop out of the game, and the last person remaining loses.

Twisted 10 Times Game

[Huge Trend] We burst out laughing at an unexpected, hilarious answer in the 10-times quiz game lol
Twisted 10 Times Game

Games you can play in little pockets of time, like during breaks, are popular, aren’t they? If you’re looking for that kind of game, I recommend the “10 Times Quiz.” It’s an old quiz format where you say something like “Cinderella” ten times, but there are actually lots of versions that aren’t widely known yet.

The fun part is that even when you know what’s coming, you still get tricked.

Absolutely Do Not Laugh Funny Words

Absolutely Do Not Laugh Funny Words

A simple yet exciting game you can play without any props.

The rules are easy: participants take turns saying words they think are funny.

You might be wondering, “What’s funny about that?” The key to this game is that you must absolutely not laugh—whether you’re saying the word or listening to it.

Once you’re told not to laugh, even ordinary words start to sound hilarious, and you can’t help but burst out! It’s easy for anyone to enjoy in the classroom or at home, so give it a try.
