111511downt

Formed in 2021, downt is a band whose track “111511” from their debut album has earned strong support from early-listening audiences.
True to alternative rock, their songs compellingly shift between calm and intensity.
One moment you’re engulfed by a wall of sound from heavily distorted guitars, the next it transitions into a sparkling, refreshing clean tone.
Their translucent female vocals—one of their signature strengths—add depth and dimension to the music.
They’re a band poised for even greater breakthroughs.

MusicaBurandē Senki

Brandy Senki is a band formed in Osaka in 2022 that drew attention, with their songs getting airplay on FM802, one of Osaka’s leading radio stations.
The music video for their debut single “Musica,” released on their official YouTube channel, surpassed 1 million views in just one month, despite the band being almost unknown at the time.
Their sound is characterized by a nostalgic, laid-back vibe, and vocalist-guitarist Renge’s singing is genuinely emotional.
Asymmetrytsubakiya shijuusou

Sadly, as of 2017, Tsubakiya Shijuusou is on hiatus.
Despite the repeated, similar phrases in this song, the melody never gets boring—I think it’s wonderful.
Their other tracks are all great as well, so please give them a listen.
Fly AwayTRICERATOPS

A talented band known for positive lyrics, quality melodies, and a rich, full band sound.
Since making their major debut with the single “Raspberry” in July 1997, they have been actively releasing music and performing live.
NihilismRusan’chiman

Ressentiment is a rock band that released their first mini-album, “memento,” in 2021.
True to their name—which signifies resentment toward powerful figures and other dominant forces—they skillfully turn the darkness and antagonism inherent in human nature into songs.
Their vocalist-guitarist, Kita, has a distinctive, unadorned, almost murmuring singing style that differs from mainstream rock.
It brings out a sense of raw humanity and, to me, embodies the “music that’s different from the rest” at the heart of alternative rock.
ElizabethShingāzuhai

Singers High is a four-piece rock band that has been active since 2020.
Uchiyama Short’s guitar-vocals have that alternative rock vibe and feel absolutely incredible! In particular, his piercing high notes have a one-of-a-kind presence.
They also blend really well with Mitsu’s bass-and-chorus vocals.
Centered on a hefty, hard-hitting sound, their music has the power to strike listeners right in the heart.
The exquisite interplay between the two guitars is another major highlight!
AM 4:00BURGER NUDS

A three-piece rock band.
Formed in 1999 by three classmates from junior high and high school, they disbanded after their final show at Shinjuku Loft in 2004, becoming known as a legendary band.
On January 1, 2014, they launched their official website and announced a reunion, revealing they would hold their first live show in ten years on June 21.
