Formed in Osaka in 1998, locofrank has continued to be at the heart of the scene ever since.

With a three-piece lineup featuring bass on lead vocals—a classic melodic hardcore setup—their appeal lies in songs that are simple, straightforward, yet powerful.

Their range is another highlight, spanning from tracks bursting with the driving speed characteristic of melodic hardcore to mid-tempo songs with a gentle vibe.

On top of that, vocalist Masayuki Kinoshita’s raspy, masculine voice is something you rarely hear in other bands, and it’s become a key part of locofrank’s identity.
