With straight, melodic guitar riffs that scream “this is melodic core,” a driving beat forged by the drums and bass, and song structures that deftly balance tension and release, the band is packed with can’t-miss elements.
Above all, vocalist Yonosuke Ikuta’s husky singing voice irresistibly draws you in.

Hailing from Osaka, AIRFLIP has gone through numerous lineup changes and overcome many hardships.
As a result, however, the members’ diverse musical backgrounds have helped them craft a perfectly balanced sound that’s easy to enjoy even for those who aren’t into punk.
Their style delivers classic rock numbers that feel great to sing at karaoke and also get everyone fired up together at live shows.
Rather than becoming rigid, their musical flexibility has turned into a unique identity—and a major strength.
I’ll Be With YouCOUNTRY YARD

A rock band that continues to evolve with a sound rooted in punk rock while broadly incorporating alternative rock, blues, and overseas indie rock.
Formed in 2008 as the melodic hardcore boom—massively popular in the 1990s—began to wane, they’re known as a band that, despite being melocore at heart, has earned genre-defying acclaim thanks to their originality.
Their songs, built on wistful melodies and driving beats, exquisitely fuse classic, old-school punk with modern guitar tones.
They’re a band to watch—poised to lift the melocore genre to the next stage.
WALKHUSKING BEE

A three-piece rock band known by the abbreviation “Husking.” Formed in 1994 at the height of the melodic hardcore boom, they disbanded in 2005 and later made headlines by resuming activities in 2012 with new members.
At the time of their formation, they were pioneers of emo and screamo—rare in Japan then—and their unique sound, which incorporated elements of power pop, established a musical identity that extended beyond melodic hardcore alone.
Since 2016, Tetsuya Kudo, the bassist from the lineup at the time of their breakup, has returned, and this living, legendary melodic hardcore band is expected to continue evolving in new ways.
MiraclesDRADNATS

DRADNATS is a three-piece band formed in 2005, known for their melodic hardcore hallmarks: sharp, edgy guitar tones, blazing two-beat rhythms, and songs packed tight with a true melocore spirit.
On top of those genre-typical tracks, they weave in ear-catching, emotional melodies, resulting in a highly compelling sound.
Their band name, when read backwards, spells STANDARD—yes, it’s a play on Hi-STANDARD.
Knowing that, their move to PIZZA OF DEATH RECORDS in 2014 feels all the more meaningful.
