“Jet Generation” sets the blood racing with its breakneck guitar riffs and thunderous drum beats.

The energy Guitar Wolf unleashes feels like the pinnacle of raw rock, and the standout is its overwhelming sound production.

The fully overdriven guitar tone embodies the spirit of garage rock, pulling listeners unconditionally into its world.

Let this unruly, riot-stirring track awaken your inner wild child and experience the freedom of music for yourself.

BABY BABYichou BOYZ

Ging Nang BOYZ – BABY BABY
BABY BABYichou BOYZ

A quintessential youth-punk band.

This is a track they provided for DJ Yatsui Ichirou’s “DJ Yatsui Ichirou 1.” The setting is within a dream, where the singer is communicating with someone they love.

It’s punk, but pure emotions are bursting forth.

The wistful melody line beautifully captures the fragility of the dream world.

If someone you love actually appeared in your dreams, this is probably how it would feel.

Tally-hoZa Kuromaniyonzu

The debut single by The Cro-Magnons.

Hiroto Kōmoto released it in 2006 on his label.

I wondered what “Tally-ho” means, but it’s a military term for “target acquired.” Masatoshi Mashima wasn’t involved in writing or composing this song—Kōmoto handled both.

Some entity called “Tally-ho” sails across the sea, aiming for something.

Formed in Osaka, they made their major debut in 2016 and are still a relatively young band.

Their songs feature plenty of quirky lyrics you won’t forget once you’ve heard them.

“Atsumare! Party People” is a live staple—a high-energy track that everyone, including fans, can enjoy together.

Their male-female twin vocals also sound great, so give them a listen.

Rock 'n' Roll of That DayTHE50kaitenz

At first glance they look like a comedy band, but they’re actually straight-up punk rock musicians who sing songs packed with serious messages.

This track, too, uses a simple three-chord structure, yet their straightforward message comes through loud and clear.

They’re a rare artist who manages to be both cheesy and cool at the same time.

Here’s some youthful punk you’ll want to listen to after you’ve grown up!

Theme of The Blue HeartsTHE BLUE HEARTS

It’s a song that feels like a burst of raw early impulse—bearing the band’s own name—that was released independently after their major debut.

Many listeners were surely gripped by its message: a cry of alienation from society and a thirst for freedom, shouted over a breakneck punk sound that runs just about two minutes.

Hiroto Kōmoto’s rough yet straight-ahead vocals seem to bypass logic and set your soul on fire directly.

Originally released in August 1987 as a self-produced single, the track was later included on the commemorative best-of album “THE BLUE HEARTS 30th ANNIVERSARY ALL TIME MEMORIALS ~SUPER SELECTED SONGS~.” If you’re feeling stifled by the status quo or itching to scream at something unjust, listening to this will help unleash those pent-up emotions.

textbookZa Masumisairu

The Mass Missile are a flagship band of “seishun punk,” blasting out raw, straightforward feelings at full volume with an endearingly clumsy honesty.

They’ve long spoken for adolescent boys and given them courage.

They’re the ultimate punk band that belts out huge messages that seem to forgive all your misery and awkwardness—the sweat, the tears, and the uncool parts of yourself.
