Santa has a wife named Mrs. Claus. They live happily together, and she is said to wear the same red outfit as Santa. She’s a very kind wife and even helps with the Christmas preparations!

Santa comes into houses through the chimney, but these days there are fewer homes with chimneys, and in Japan especially, houses with chimneys are rare. So lately, it’s said that Santa comes in through the window. Even if it’s locked, he can open it with magic!
