Flowers made with balloons

Let’s make a flower using balloons! You’ll need a total of seven balloons: five for the petals and two for the center.

First, inflate two petal balloons.

Adjust them so they’re the same size, cross the two balloons, then stretch the neck of one balloon, twist it around twice, and tie a tight knot.

Make another set the same way, and then inflate the last petal balloon and tie it to make a group of three.

Next, inflate the two center balloons slightly smaller and pair them together.

Finally, stack all the parts and tie them together—and you’re done! Feel free to mix and match sizes and colors as you like.

Rainbow Balloon

The quality at 100-yen shops is amazing! A dreamy-cute party with a unicorn balloon and rainbow balloons 🦄🌈☁️ [Birthday Decorations]
Rainbow Balloon

Having balloons at the kindergarten graduation ceremony makes the children so happy, doesn’t it? Here’s a fun idea: create a rainbow using pencil balloons! Prepare long, thin balloons (called pencil balloons) that you can buy at a 100-yen shop, and inflate them.

Adjust the balloon lengths so they get longer from the inner arc of the rainbow to the outer arc.

Once inflated, curve them into a rainbow shape, arrange them neatly, and secure them with double-sided tape to finish.

As a cute extra, you can add clouds at both ends of the rainbow using white balloons.

It’s a lovely idea that pairs perfectly with the children’s wall art for a delightful display!

Balloons made with various techniques

Let’s make a balloon-themed wall display with construction paper to decorate the venue beautifully! Cut your favorite colors of construction paper into balloon shapes.

For infants, it can be fun to make them by sticking on stickers, torn-paper collage pieces, or crumpled tissue paper.

For preschoolers, a great idea is to freely apply masking tape, then add color with paint or crayons, and finally peel off the tape.

Choose according to the children’s ages and interests! Attach strings to the finished balloons and display them so it looks like self-portraits or photos of the children are holding them—it will look adorable.

Give it a try using a variety of techniques!

Transform your graduation ceremony venue into a truly lovely space! Here’s a way to decorate a wall by hanging balloons.

First, hang lengths of fishing line (nylon thread) down the wall you want to decorate and tape them in place.

Adjust the length as you like.

Once the lines are ready, tie the knots of the inflated balloons onto the fishing line.

Keep an eye on the overall look as you go, adjusting colors and spacing between the balloons.

You’ll end up with a charming wall that looks as if the balloons are floating.

If the balloons sway too much in the wind, tape the lower ends of the hanging lines to the floor—then they’ll flutter gently and look adorable!

Balloons made of felt

The gentle vibe is so cute! Here’s a balloon craft idea you can make with felt.

What you’ll need: felt, colored construction paper, white yarn, a pencil, colored pencils, scissors, craft glue, and glue stick.

First, cut the colored construction paper into the shape of a balloon.

Next, cut the felt into triangles and squares, and use craft glue to stick them onto the paper balloon you made.

Finally, attach a string made of white yarn, and you’re done! This is a great idea for adding a charming touch to venue decorations.

Wall decor made with marbling

Here’s an idea for creating one-of-a-kind, original balloons with no two patterns alike.

We’ll use marbling for this! Fill a container with water and draw patterns on the surface using marbling ink or acrylic paint.

People often use chopsticks or sticks to drag the dripped paint into patterns, but for younger children who find tools tricky, they can simply blow gently to create patterns—give it a try.

Once the pattern is ready, carefully float a balloon-shaped cutout of white drawing paper on the surface, then slowly lift it up to reveal the design.

Make lots of them to decorate the venue beautifully!

Balloon wall décor made with children

Let’s create a memory project with friends we spent time with! Here are ideas for a balloon-themed wall display to make with children.

You’ll need a large sheet made by joining poster paper or construction paper, the children’s artwork, tape, scissors, origami paper, and crayons or colored pencils.

First, spread out the base poster paper.

Using colored construction paper, create and paste motifs of the preschool building and playground as a backdrop.

Next, cut out and paste the children’s self-portraits.

Finally, add messages and other details, and it’s complete! The illustrations of children holding balloons are so adorable.

How about making this as a memory project?
