Keychain with Indian embroidered ribbon

Let’s make a keychain using a cute embroidered ribbon.

Prepare a small length of ribbon and your preferred hardware to secure it.

Cut the ribbon, making sure not to mix up the front and back, then gather it with tucks and sew it in place.

After sewing, wrap a thin ribbon around that section once and secure it with a hot glue gun.

Next, clamp it using a ribbon end (ribbon clamp) component.

Attach a double jump ring, which is secure and hard to come off, and you’re done.

Adding a charm to the double jump ring also looks adorable.

Try making one with your favorite ribbon!

Felt coaster

[For First-Timers] Easy and Quick! Make Coasters with Felt Sheets
Felt coaster

How about making felt coasters that even first-time crafters can create? Felt coasters are very handy because they absorb the condensation from cold drinks.

First, prepare three pieces of felt and place some cellophane tape on top to mark the outer edge.

After cutting out all three pieces, cut two of them in half.

It doesn’t have to be exactly in the middle—cut wherever you like.

Stitch the two cut pieces of felt together with a needle and thread.

It actually looks nicer if it’s not too neat.

Once they’re joined, apply glue to the remaining whole piece of felt, layer the stitched piece on top, and you’re done.

tulle ribbon hair tie

Perfect for kids who love fashion! Let’s make a cute tulle ribbon hair tie.

Cut a large square piece of tulle fabric and place your choice of decorations inside, such as cotton balls or beads.

Fold the fabric into a bow shape, making sure the decorations are evenly distributed on the left and right sides of the bow.

Once the shape is formed, reinforce the center of the bow by sewing it or wrapping thread around it.

To finish, wrap a separate narrow ribbon or strip of fabric around the center—capturing the hair tie in place—and hide the middle section.

If you cut the tulle into a circle, you can make a hair tie with rounded bow corners!

flower hair tie

[No Subtitles] How to Make a Felt Flower Hair Tie
flower hair tie

Let’s make a flower hair tie using felt.

All you need are a hair elastic, small pieces of a few types of felt, and a needle and thread for sewing.

First, wrap a piece of felt around the hair elastic to form a base and stitch it closed.

Place flower-shaped felt pieces on top of the felt base, position a pearl bead in the center of each flower, and sew them on.

It looks cutest if you attach about five or six flowers closely together on the base.

You can change the look just by varying the flower shapes or the pearl beads, so try customizing your design.

beanbags

How to Make Beanbags: It’s so easy that even a child can make one alone 🙌 Clear, step-by-step instructions / With hiragana subtitles / Let’s make and play with a traditional Japanese toy♪
beanbags

Let’s make a toy you can both create and play with: beanbags (otedama)! Cut fabric in your preferred colors and patterns to the size of the beanbag you want.

Fold it in half and sew along the long edge.

On one of the short edges, instead of sewing the front and back together flat, sew around the opening in a circle, then pull the thread tight to cinch it closed.

Do the same on the other side, but before cinching it, fill the beanbag.

Recommended fillings include adzuki beans, soybeans, or job’s tears (beads).

After filling, pull the thread to close the opening and sew securely so the contents don’t spill out.

Make two or three and try playing otedama!

Easy Long-tailed Tit

[Beginner] As simple as possible! [How to make a Long-tailed Tit]
Easy Long-tailed Tit

This is about making a long-tailed tit, notable for its white and soft appearance, using faux fur fabric.

The key points are how to make the most of the fabric’s softness and how rounded to make the final shape.

You’ll cut the fabric using a pattern, sew the pieces together, then stuff them with filling to create a round form.

Since you’ll combine the body and tail before adding the stuffing, it may be important to sew while keeping the final shape in mind.

It’s also interesting that the impression changes depending on how much stuffing you use.
