[Hand Sewing] How to Make a Drawstring Pouch (Running Stitch Only! No Lining)
Just running stitch! Drawstring bag

Why not try making a drawstring pouch from fabric scraps that you can finish with just a running stitch, even without a sewing machine? Even though it’s hand-sewn, using the French seam method means the stitches won’t show and the pouch turns out very sturdy.

For the drawstring opening, simply crease the fabric with your fingernail to mark it, fold it into thirds, and finish with a running stitch.

Threading the cord with a safety pin makes it very easy, so give it a try.

Making several small drawstring pouches like this is great for organizing small items in your bag.

knit cap

[Yarn Craft] Easy for Lower Grades to Knit! How to Make a Knit Hat Keychain [Ashitaba Channel]
knit cap

A cute keychain shaped like a tiny doll-sized knit hat with a fluffy pom-pom on top.

You’ll use yarn, but there’s no knitting involved, so it’s fine even if you’re not good at knitting.

You’ll need yarn, embroidery thread, and thick paper (cardstock).

Make a ring with the thick paper, then take a 20 cm piece of yarn, fold it in half, pass it through the paper ring, make a loop, and pull the yarn ends through the loop.

Repeat this process.

Once the paper ring is filled with yarn, leave a few centimeters at the end and tie it with yarn that has an embroidery-thread loop passed through it.

Trim the yarn ends—the pom-pom part—with scissors to finish.

Clothing remade eco bag

Just cut, fold, and sew one spot! Super easy “Clothing-Remake Eco Bag” tutorial / Make it in 10 minutes / T-shirt / How-to / DIY
Clothing remade eco bag

How about making an eco bag by upcycling old clothes? It’s very easy: just cut, fold, and sew one seam.

The handles can be left with raw edges.

Take an old T-shirt and cut it from the inside of the neck and the inside of the sleeves into a tank-top shape.

Then fold the bottom of the shirt vertically and sew it with a sewing machine.

If you don’t have a machine, a hand backstitch works fine.

Being able to give your favorite T-shirts a new life makes it the perfect eco bag.

And since it’s originally a T-shirt, it’s easy to wash.
