Unforgettable Preschool Graduation Certificates! A Fun Collection of Handmade Ideas (11–20)
A certificate made with your favorite character and photo
Here’s a great idea for anyone who wants to incorporate each child’s favorite things into their graduation certificate.
Print the children’s photos on the certificates and add their favorite characters alongside them.
Receiving a photo certificate decorated with their beloved characters at the graduation ceremony is sure to double their excitement.
You can almost see their faces lighting up with big smiles.
If you want to create a one-of-a-kind, unforgettable graduation certificate, be sure to take inspiration from this idea.
Graduation certificates made with dyed washi paper
When you think of a kindergarten graduation certificate, you probably picture white, thick paper.
How about making those certificates together with the children by dyeing them in vibrant colors? By using warm-feeling washi paper and dyeing it with gentle-toned paints, you can create certificates with a cozy atmosphere.
It also preserves the memory of the children dyeing them themselves in a tangible form.
If you’d like to create a one-of-a-kind, original graduation certificate—each one different from the next—please give this a try.
Graduation certificates we make ourselves
We’d like to introduce a wonderful idea for graduation certificates born from the desire to pass on traditions to children.
Amazingly, this project starts with making the paper for the certificates together with the kids.
Using Izakita washi, a type of traditional Japanese paper, the children craft the paper, and then the teachers write a personal message to each child, creating the graduation certificates together.
Every time they look back at their certificate, the memories of making washi together will surely come flooding back.
It’s a heartwarming graduation certificate filled to the brim with love.
3D Panorama Certificate

This book-style graduation certificate brings back memories of time spent at the kindergarten every time you turn a page, and it feels like it will give children the courage to spread their wings into the future.
Decide how you want to structure the interior pages, then cut construction paper and assemble it to create a three-dimensional finish.
The pages are designed to pop up when opened, so planning the design of the pop-up parts and mechanisms in advance will make the process smoother.
Try making your own original graduation certificate that lets you look back on memories one page at a time.
Certificate of the Swaying Mobile

When you hear “graduation certificate,” you probably picture something made of paper, right? The one I’m introducing today is a mobile-style graduation certificate that you’ll want to display as interior decor.
It’s designed so that a photo can be placed next to a mobile inspired by nature.
Built like a photo frame, it can stand by a window; sunlight and breeze make the mobile’s colors turn translucent and gently sway.
Just looking at it brings a calm, tender feeling.
It’s a wonderful idea that warmly brings back memories of those irreplaceable days spent at the preschool.
A graduation certificate that turns memories into a sugoroku (board game)

It’s a bold and unique idea to turn a graduation certificate into a sugoroku board game.
You paste memorable photos as the squares on the certificate, and by playing the game, you can look back on those memories along with the photos from that time.
It’s a perfect idea for when you want to incorporate something a little different or create a certificate that people will look at again and again even after it’s given.
When adopting this idea, paying attention to the details—like making the game pieces a vehicle such as the kindergarten’s bus—will enhance the finished product.

A card with potted flowers that pop out

Deliver your feelings in words! Let’s handmake a message card.
This idea uses only construction paper and features a pop-up potted flower.
The flowerpot is given a three-dimensional effect by adding straight and curved cuts along the fold of a sheet of construction paper folded in half.
For the flower, cut a circle from construction paper, fold it in half twice, then make mountain folds outward on the side opposite the creases.
Next, round off the corners to form the flower shape.
Attach the flower above the pot, and it’s complete.
