Lion tambourine

Let’s make a lion-themed tambourine! With a cute lion, children will enjoy interacting with the tambourine.
First, prepare four rubber bands, each threaded with a clip.
Next, draw a lion’s face and cut it out with scissors.
Then fold a strip of origami paper in half and attach the rubber bands you prepared.
Glue the lion’s face to the outside of a paper plate, and glue the origami strips with the rubber bands to the inside of another paper plate.
Staple the two plates together and you’re done! You can also customize it by changing the materials you put inside the plates, so it might be fun to make and try different variations.
In conclusion
We’ve shared ideas for tambourines you can make with everyday materials. Using simple supplies like paper plates, acorns, and items from the 100-yen shop, children are sure to feel the joy of creating beautiful sounds with ease. Add your own decorations and try making a one-of-a-kind handmade instrument. Once it’s finished, hosting a little concert together will make for a wonderful memory.
