Treasure Hunt

“Maybe it’s in the toy box?” “If we open the drawer, it might be inside!” This is a treasure hunt game that keeps kids buzzing with excitement! Hide treasures all around the classroom and have the children find them.
You can use stories from picture books you usually read aloud, or say, “Actually, your favorite characters are hiding in the classroom!” and incorporate things the kids love to grab their interest even more.
Will everyone notice the subtle changes in the classroom that they see every day without thinking? The teacher may be repeatedly surprised by how children spot the most unexpected places.
Seated tag

“We can’t play outside because of the rain, but I still want to move my body as much as possible today!” In times like these, here’s a childcare-friendly game we recommend: “Seated Tag.” First, the children start in a seated position.
The rule is that they must keep their bottoms on the floor at all times.
Set a time limit, then play tag while staying seated.
Since it doesn’t involve running, it’s safe and fun to play indoors.
It also helps build leg strength as kids move using their legs and bottoms, so be sure to add it to your play repertoire!
May Panel Theater

Also great for birthday parties! Introducing a panel theater for May.
At many preschools, teachers put on a performance for the children during birthday parties, right? For those wondering what theme to choose and how to stage it, we recommend the panel theater “Which one? Which one? Which do you think?” It’s perfect for kids who love quizzes! The way to answer is simple, making it enjoyable for infants through preschoolers.
Be sure to use it for birthday parties and other events.

The fluffy, cute balloon theater is so much fun! We’re introducing the idea for “What’s Inside the Present…”.
In the video it’s performed at a birthday event, but it’s also a fantastic idea for a school entrance ceremony! You’ll get to see children’s sparkling, adorable expressions as they wonder what’s inside the present box.
When you open the lid and the balloon starts to inflate bit by bit, the kids are guaranteed to get excited! Take this opportunity to give it a try.

Pun Quiz

It’s like a riddle and really fun! Here are some ideas for pun quizzes.
By using puns, you can create laughter while learning words—a unique idea.
For example, for the question “What card game is a tiger playing?” the answer would be “toranpu” (trump), a play on words in Japanese.
Try coming up with answers that work like puns.
Children will develop creativity by twisting words to produce funny answers.
It’s something you can enjoy with family and friends while experiencing the fun of wordplay, and it helps build vocabulary and a sense of humor too! Let’s think up questions together, from easy to a bit challenging, and find the answers while laughing.
Play: The Big Turnip

When it comes to party activities, a play is a classic choice, isn’t it? How about performing “The Gigantic Turnip,” a story everyone from children to adults knows? It’s the one where the turnip Grandpa planted grows so big he can’t pull it out by himself, so Grandma, their grandchild, and even the dog and cat all pitch in to pull it out together.
It could be fun to add some original elements, too, don’t you think? For example, instead of just Grandpa, Grandma, the dog, and the cat, you could keep adding more characters—like their son or daughter, or forest animals—and make it even more entertaining.
Anything Basket

Listen carefully, think carefully, and move! Here’s an idea for a “Anything Basket” game.
Are you familiar with Fruit Basket? In this game, participants are assigned the names of fruits like apple, banana, and orange.
The facilitator calls out, “○○ fruit!” and the children who have that fruit name quickly move to the seats designated for that fruit.
As a variation of Fruit Basket, let’s try “Anything Basket.” It’s a great way to develop good listening skills!
