Because the items children make are treated as works or projects, we use the term “seisaku” (production/creation) in the text.

Wiggly Snake Made from Empty Containers

Here’s how to make a stretching snake toy by connecting empty containers! You’ll need a 60 cm elastic cord, four lactic acid drink containers, permanent colored markers, and eye parts.
First, punch a hole in the bottom of each drink container using an awl or similar tool.
Thread the elastic through the holes to connect the containers, then tie the elastic about 10 cm from the end where it comes out of the container’s mouth.
Pull the elastic from the opposite end, tie it at the bottom side, trim any excess with scissors, and draw snake patterns with the markers to finish.
For easy eyes, using round stickers is recommended.
Spinning Snake

Wrap a pipe cleaner around a felt-tip pen to shape the snake, then stick on the googly eyes to finish the snake.
Punch a hole in the lower side of the paper cup and insert a straw to complete the snake’s dance stage.
Place the cup upside down and set the pipe-cleaner snake on top.
When you blow through the straw, the snake on the stage starts to dance! A bendy straw is recommended.
Give it a try!
