[Kiss] Classic songs about kissing: recommended popular tracks (31–40)

Beast KISSMelody Chubak

Melody Chubak is a half-Canadian, half-Japanese singer-songwriter.

Many of you might know her from her days as a child actress on the TV show Tensai TV-kun.

Among her songs, the one I especially recommend is Kemonokiss.

Musically, it’s crafted in a gothic-style R&B vein, similar to the recent trend set by Sam Smith’s Unholy.

Be sure to check it out.

French kissKARA

French Kiss is an adorable Christmas song released by KARA in 2013.

Set to a sparkling, festive melody, it captures the fluttery excitement of an upcoming Christmas to be spent with a lover.

The feeling of love so big it can’t be contained—and the resolve to express it properly again at Christmas—is just so cute! It’s also a great pick for background music when spending Christmas with your significant other.

A.S.A.P.Little Kiss

A song that evokes the beginning of a passionate romance, Little Kiss’s “A.S.A.P.” Little Kiss is a duo formed by Shizuka Kudo and Takaaki Ishibashi of Tunnels on the variety show “Tunnels no Nama de Daradara Ikasete!!”.

Their sole track, released in 1997, features lyrics by Yasushi Akimoto.

It portrays a heated, adult romance—one only two mature artists like Kudo and Ishibashi could sing—where, in the moment they meet and fall in love, they confirm their feelings with a kiss.

kissfayray

Fayray’s “Kuchizuke” portrays the aching, painful state of putting on a brave face after a heartbreaking breakup.

Released in 2004, the song was chosen as the theme for the drama “Ai no Solea.” The lyrics convey a palpable sense of someone who can’t forget their ex and acts tough, yet is deeply hurting and wounded inside.

It’s a song I’d recommend to anyone trying to get over a breakup by staying strong, while secretly wishing someone would understand what they’re going through.

It was released in 2017 as HKT48’s 10th single.

Hana Matsuoka served as the center for the song, and it reached No.

1 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart.

The song is about a pure and cute girl who wants to kiss but doesn’t know how, wondering if it’s okay for her to make the first move.
