Korean karaoke songs: Beloved tracks from popular ballads to K-pop (41–50)
Way Back HomeSHAUN

DJ/producer Shaun’s hit song “Way Back Home,” released in the summer of 2018, went viral on TikTok and has stayed a long-running hit on streaming platforms.
It’s also become a karaoke staple, ranking 3rd in JOYSOUND’s 2021 annual K-POP chart.
With lyrics about returning to someone important and a lyrical, warm melody, it’s a track that captures a distinctly Korean sensibility.
It has a healing quality that feels heartwarming, so it’s also a great choice when you want to sing something calm for a little breather.
GANGNAM STYLEPSY

Psy’s “Gangnam Style” is a song with many fans not only in Asia, such as Korea and Japan, but also in the West.
With its distinctive horse-riding dance and incredibly upbeat vibe, it’s a track that can take center stage at karaoke.
The lyrics aren’t overly dense throughout the song, so even though it’s in Korean, it’s relatively easy to sing.
While Korean artists often create English lyrics when expanding overseas, this song does not.
It seems Psy consciously embraced his identity as a Korean artist, and this stance as an artist is part of what makes the song so cool.
직진 (JIKJIN)TREASURE

If you want to sing a cool hip-hop number, I recommend JIKJIN.
It’s a track by TREASURE, YG’s distinctive boy group, and the lead song from their 2022 first mini album THE SECOND STEP: CHAPTER ONE – KR EDITION -.
Its unique rhythm is striking and will definitely get stuck in your head.
The vocal melody is solid, so it’s easy to sing! The steering-wheel-like moves incorporated into the dance are also super cool.
It’s a love song too, so it’s perfect for appealing to someone you like or expressing straightforward affection!
Share The WorldTVXQ (also known as Tohoshinki; literally “Rising Gods of the East”)

A karaoke song by TVXQ, one of the first male K-pop groups to break into the Japanese mainstream, whose high musical quality matches their well-established recognition.
With high-energy vocals that shine in a karaoke setting, it’s a memorable classic that has stayed in the ears of many Japanese listeners and remains very popular.
Queencard(G)I-DLE)

Queencard, the smash hit released by (G)I-DLE in 2023.
On top of their strength in highly acclaimed musical quality, it’s a super catchy, high-energy track that’s sure to get you hyped.
The lyrics about self-affirmation are wonderful and will lift your spirits! It’s a favorite at karaoke in their home country, and in idol categories on various charts like NEVER VIBE, it seems to be second in popularity only to IVE.
It also has a party-tune vibe, so it’s great fun to sing with friends or fellow fans!
