Korean karaoke songs: Beloved tunes from popular ballads to K-pop (61–70)
Boy With LuvBTS

BTS is a boy group popular not only in South Korea but also in Japan and the United States.
It’s no exaggeration to say they helped create the current K-POP boom.
Among their works, the one I especially recommend as easy to sing and sure to get the crowd going is “Boy With Luv.” While it features prominent high notes characteristic of BTS songs, the vocal range falls into the relatively narrow mid1E to hiB, making it much easier to sing than it sounds.
If you slightly reduce your volume, it becomes easier to produce a mixed voice in the build-up sections, so keep that in mind while you sing.
DolphinOH MY GIRL

OH MY GIRL is a six-member idol group formed in 2015.
Their music is rooted in orthodox K-pop, and they’ve gained popularity for their quintessential idol appeal.
Among their songs, the one I especially recommend is Dolphin.
It has a slightly tropical house vibe, featuring a smooth, level vocal line without dramatic peaks.
The mixed-voice section right before the chorus can be a tricky spot, but since it doesn’t require belting, anyone should be able to sing it if they adjust to a suitable key.
HIPMAMAMOO

A killer tune that opened up a new frontier for MAMAMOO while instantly boosting their recognition far beyond K-pop fans.
It’s a dance track that blew up on TikTok, so it’s guaranteed to get the crowd hyped! With member Hwasa participating in the songwriting and composition, this powerful song encourages you to stick to your own style without being swayed by others’ reactions.
Among MAMAMOO’s tracks, this one especially emphasizes groove and vibe, so you can ride the momentum to sing, dance, and have fun.
The words are relatively short, making it easier to take on the original version, but if it’s tough, try singing the Japanese version!
LuciferSHINee

This is a karaoke song by SHINee, whose singers’ dazzling performances and overwhelming presence have earned high praise in Japan as well.
Their smooth, soaring vocals give a happy, peaceful impression—it’s a musical style that really elevates the mood!
TTTwice

A karaoke song by TWICE that leaves a strong impression with its members’ outstanding style, which has sparked a huge movement in Japan thanks to its unique choreography and increased TV exposure.
It’s crafted so everyone can sing and dance together, built on a solid foundation and delivering an uplifting, crowd-pleasing number.
사랑은 늘 도망가Imu Yon’un

A medium-tempo ballad featured on the 2021 drama “Young Lady and Gentleman” soundtrack.
Lim Young-woong, who shot to fame by winning the audition show “Mr.
Trot,” handled and covered his first-ever OST with this song, which became a massive hit.
The original is by Lee Moon-se.
It’s a masterpiece that gently sings of the sentimental feeling that love always slips away.
You’ll be drawn in by its one-of-a-kind lyrics, and it’s nice to listen to at a relaxed pace.
It’s also popular among older listeners, so it’s a great choice for family karaoke.
CelebrityIU

“Celebrity” has IU’s characteristic gentle vibe and warm lyrics, and it’s wonderful.
Released in advance from her 2021 album “LILAC,” it became a huge hit.
Filled with IU’s feelings for a friend, the song carries a heartfelt message that affirms you to cherish your individuality.
It makes you feel a future where each step connects to a miracle.
I also recommend it because its calm rhythm makes it easy to sing.
It’s soothing and puts your heart at ease, so try singing it when you want to encourage a friend.
