NEKKOYA(PICK ME)PRODUCE48

[ENG sub] PRODUCE48 [최초공개] 프로듀스48_내꺼야(PICK ME) Performance 180615 EP.0
NEKKOYA(PICK ME)PRODUCE48

PRODUCE 48 is the third season of a popular Korean idol audition program.

Not only Korean trainees but also members from Japan’s AKB Group took part, competing for 11 debut spots.

This song is the assignment used to determine the first rankings, and every trainee participates—it’s an overwhelming performance piece.

The title “Nekkoya” means “It’s Mine.” Viewers can also vote as “national producers,” so while it’s a cute love song saying “Your heart is mine,” it also carries a double meaning of “Please vote for me!” The lyrics mix Japanese and Korean, making it easy to sing, and the difficulty is low, so it’s great for karaoke.

Choi Yena, who was also active as a member of IZ*ONE, released her solo debut song “SMILEY (Feat.

BIBI).” It’s a bright pop song that perfectly matches Yena’s character, leading you forward with a big smile.

Her voice is adorable and really uplifting.

The bouncy rhythm and the message of smiling through challenges create an even more joyful vibe! The lyrics are so wonderful they might even move you to tears, so it’s also a great recommendation for cheering up a friend who’s feeling down.

NobodyWONDER GIRLS

Nobody, the signature song of Wonder Girls, helped spark the K-pop idol boom and marked a milestone as they became the first Korean artists to rank on the Billboard charts.

The song remains popular with younger generations—Miihi chose it as her cover on the audition show Nizi Project.

It’s a retro pop tune that sings of love’s obsession, with lines like “It has to be you.” The chorus is so catchy that you can hum it after just one listen thanks to its repetition.

It’s widely known and easy to sing in terms of tempo and pitch, so be sure to enjoy it together with everyone!

좋다고 말해BOL4

좋다고 말해BOL4

Bolbbalgan4’s “Tell Me You Love Me” is a song that captures the bittersweet feelings of unrequited love.

The overall key is on the higher side, but the range isn’t very wide, making it an easy number to sing at karaoke.

Highly recommended for those with a gentle, soft vocal tone.

CASE 143Stray Kids

Stray Kids – CASE 143 -Japanese ver.- / THE FIRST TAKE
CASE 143Stray Kids

Stray Kids is a boys’ group that’s rapidly gaining momentum.

In Japan, they’re affectionately known as “Sukizu” and loved by many female fans.

Among their songs, the one I especially recommend for its singability and crowd-pleasing energy is CASE 143, released in 2022.

While the overall vocal range is quite wide—low G# to high F#—the low notes appear in the rap parts and the high notes only show up in the final chorus, so the basic range isn’t that broad.

The high notes also come after clear rests, so you can prepare and hit them comfortably.

If you’re still unsure, you can sing the high parts an octave lower.
