Korean karaoke songs: Beloved tracks from popular ballads to K-pop (91–100)
It’s You (Duet With IU)SUNG SI KYUNG (Son Shigyon)

A gem of a duet by Sung Si-kyung, a leading figure in Korea’s ballad scene known for his delicate harmonies, and IU, renowned for her outstanding vocal prowess.
Released in 2010 as a bonus track on Sung Si-kyung’s album “The First,” this was the pair’s first collaboration.
The song portrays the bittersweet feelings of lovers reuniting after a long time, with their voices blending beautifully to leave a deep, lingering impression.
Nominated for Best Collaboration at the Mnet Asian Music Awards, it garnered significant acclaim.
If you enjoy duets, why not try singing it at karaoke?
보고싶은 날엔Paku Jihon

A song by Park Ji-hun—member of the vocal group V.O.S, who later drew attention for having a big family—“On Days I Miss You.” It was released in 2007 as the title track of his first single album, Button.
It’s a ballad that conveys the longing for a former lover.
That said, its buoyant feel and repetition-rich rhythm make the melody approachable, and I think singing it will lift your spirits.
It’s also a great pick for solo karaoke when you’re really feeling it.
Stay The Way You AreBOYFRIEND

This is a track from the album “Bouquet,” released in February 2019 by BOYFRIEND, who debuted in Korea in 2011 and in Japan in 2012.
You could say it represents the culmination of their work.
After all, in May of the same year, it was suddenly announced that they would be drawing the curtain on eight years of activity.
Could the album, titled “Bouquet,” have been the members’ final gift to us? Thinking of it that way makes it deeply moving.
Don`t you know(PROD.ROCOBERRY)ZO ZAZZ

An unconventional genius who burst onto the Korean music scene.
Debuting in January 2025, this track has drawn attention for his powerful, emotive ballad vocals that carry the original song.
The grand orchestral soundscape interwoven with his rich, husky voice creates a world steeped in poignancy, evoking the sorrow of parting from someone dear.
Arranged by Ahn Young-min and performed by a 50-piece orchestra, the expansive sound blends seamlessly with his vocal prowess.
Originally known as a Davichi song from the drama IRIS 2’s OST, this version offers a fresh, male-perspective interpretation.
It has surpassed 5 million views on YouTube and is gaining traction on domestic rebound charts.
Highly recommended for those who love ballads that resonate deep in the heart.
FLOWERGFRIEND

Since their debut in 2015, they have been a popular group winning numerous music awards.
In Korean, “girlfriend” is pronounced “yeojachingu,” so they’re affectionately nicknamed “Yeo-chin.” In 2019, they released singles two months in a row.
This is the second of those.
It’s a cute song characteristic of a group whose strength lies in their delicate, translucent looks.
I admire such adorable girls.
Bloomin’PĀKU BO GUMU (Paku Bogomu)

If you enjoy Korean dramas and films, chances are you’ve seen actor Park Bo-gum at least once.
His 2017 drama Love in the Moonlight achieved record-breaking ratings in Korea, making him an incredibly popular actor.
Remarkably, he even made his singing debut in Japan in 2019.
His versatility—shining both as an actor and as a singer—is truly impressive.
This song is a bright pop track that conveys his heartfelt appreciation for his fans through its lyrics.
VOICETaeyeon

When it comes to the group that boosted K-pop’s popularity in Japan, it has to be Girls’ Generation! They’ve secured an unshakable position in Korea as well, and surviving in the fast-changing idol scene makes them downright admirable.
The linchpin of the group is, of course, main vocalist Taeyeon.
This is the lead track from “VOICE,” her first solo album released in Japan in 2019, where you can fully appreciate her exceptional vocal ability.
Her Japanese pronunciation is also very natural.
