Kibutsuji Muzan

The sense of accomplishment is insane!! [Origami] How to make Muzan Kibutsuji from Demon Slayer - origami - Demon Slayer Kimetsu
Kibutsuji Muzan

Let’s try making Muzan Kibutsuji out of origami! You’ll use a total of three sheets: one thin orange 7.5 cm × 7.5 cm sheet, one black 7.5 cm × 7.5 cm sheet, and one black 15 cm × 15 cm sheet.

We’ll create the hair, face, and hat as separate parts, but the key point is the hair.

The hair is divided into three sections: bangs, both sides, and the back.

Make small cuts and fold finely to create a soft wave.

Since there are many delicate steps, the sense of accomplishment when you assemble all the parts will be amazing! Please use this as a reference and take your time to craft it patiently.

Kaigaku

Let’s make Kaigaku with origami! For this, you’ll use a total of five sheets: one light orange sheet (7.5 cm × 7.5 cm), two black sheets (7.5 cm × 7.5 cm), one blue sheet (7.5 cm × 7.5 cm), and one black sheet (15 cm × 15 cm).

You’ll make the face, hair, and body separately.

The key feature of this character is definitely the eyes.

They may look difficult at first, but you can easily create the base by slightly folding a light blue round sticker and attaching it.

After that, add outlines and write the kanji, and you’re good to go.

The way you fold the hair and add the slits is especially important, so be sure to check carefully as you go.

If you take your time crafting each part carefully, the overall quality will improve a lot.

Give it a go with patience!

Ubuyashiki Kagaya

Ubuyashiki Kagaya

How about making Kagaya Ubuyashiki—affectionately called Oyakata-sama and adored by many Corps members—out of origami? For this project, you’ll use a total of five sheets: one 7.5 cm × 7.5 cm light orange, one 7.5 cm × 7.5 cm light purple, one 7.5 cm × 7.5 cm black, one 15 cm × 15 cm black, and one 3.75 cm × 3.75 cm cream-colored sheet.

You’ll create it part by part, but the key point is the hair.

Cut along the white guide lines while keeping the contrast between black and white in mind.

If you can make the hair’s parting look clean, it will enhance the character’s likeness even more, so keep that in mind as you work.

You’ll fold the face, hair, and kimono as separate parts, so each individual fold is simple and easy to do.

The eyes might seem tricky, but using round stickers makes them quick to finish.

Making careful snips for the hair is a key step, so take your time with it.

When drawing on the black outfit, using a correction pen or crayons is recommended!
