"The Infinity Castle" is controlled by Nakime, an Upper Rank demon, using the sound of her biwa.

The Infinite Castle, depicted as Muzan Kibutsuji’s stronghold, is an alternate space controlled by his close aide and Upper Rank Four, Nakime, through the sound of her biwa.

By manipulating the biwa’s tones, she can alter the castle’s structure and transport allies or foes to ideal locations, making it a highly support-oriented ability.

Although Nakime is considered a demon with relatively low combat power, her free control over the vast space makes her exceptionally skilled at spatial awareness and detection.

With few lines and rare participation in battles, she comes across as a mysterious character, doesn’t she?

Muichiro Tokito’s slightly oversized uniform is meant to keep opponents from reading his range and movements.

Muichiro Tokito’s slightly oversized uniform is meant to keep opponents from reading his range and movements.

Muichiro Tokito is a 14-year-old who’s even younger than the protagonist, Tanjiro.

Compared to the other Hashira, he’s smaller, and when he stands normally, the hem of his uniform reaches his ankles and his hands are almost hidden inside the sleeves.

Since the Demon Slayer Corps has a tailoring unit, they should be able to adjust uniforms to fit… which suggests he chooses this size on purpose.

The reason was revealed in the official fanbook: he wears an oversized uniform so that demons, his enemies, can’t read his range or movements.

Sanemi Shinazugawa and Obanai Iguro are close.

Sanemi Shinazugawa and Obanai Iguro are close.

Even among the Demon Slayer Corps, Sanemi Shinazugawa, the Wind Hashira, is particularly combative.

Despite the fact that she is a demon, his violent side is evident in the Hashira Meeting where he stabs the unresisting Nezuko three times, making it hard to imagine him getting along well with anyone.

Obanai is also skeptical, doesn’t trust people easily, and tends to dislike others.

It’s surprising to hear that these two are close, but there are actually quite a few scenes that suggest their good relationship—such as training together as Hashira and displaying seamless coordination in battle.

One of the demons in the Infinity Castle is Zenitsu Agatsuma’s senior disciple.

One of the demons in the Infinity Castle is Zenitsu Agatsuma’s senior disciple.

One of the demons in the Infinity Castle was Kaigaku, Zenitsu’s senior disciple.

Kaigaku had trained under Kuwajima and, like Zenitsu, was one of the successors of Thunder Breathing.

However, after encountering Kokushibo, an Upper Rank demon, he chose to become a demon in order to survive.

He then took the position of Upper Rank Six in place of Daki and Gyutaro.

In the Infinity Castle, Zenitsu came face to face with Kaigaku and vowed to defeat him.

This was because Kuwajima had taken responsibility for his disciple turning into a demon and committed suicide.

Orphaned, Zenitsu dearly loved his master Kuwajima, whom he fondly called “Gramps.”

A Nichirin Blade is also known as a ‘color-changing sword.’

A Nichirin Blade is also known as a 'color-changing sword.'

A Nichirin Blade is the general term for the swords used by Demon Slayer Corps swordsmen to defeat demons.

They’re also known as “color-changing blades.” The reason for this nickname is that the color of the blade changes depending on the swordsman who wields it.

For reference, the protagonist Tanjiro’s blade turned black.

There are many other colors as well, such as red, light blue, green, yellow, and white.

Some people use weapons other than Nichirin Blades, but since they’re the standard equipment for Corps members, be sure to check what color your favorite character’s blade is.

Giyu Tomioka and the Demon Slayer Murata are from the same cohort.

Giyu Tomioka and the Demon Slayer Murata are from the same cohort.

Speaking of Murata, he’s one of the Demon Slayer Corps members who was on Mount Natagumo.

He isn’t particularly strong, but he’s a memorable character who appears in various scenes.

In the Infinity Castle, he desperately protected Zenitsu, who had been injured in the fight against Kaigaku.

As it turns out, Murata actually joined the Corps in the same cohort as the Water Hashira, Giyu Tomioka.

This was revealed in Volume 21 of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba when Giyu asked Murata to look after Tanjiro.

Because their positions became so different, Murata seemed to think Giyu had forgotten about him, but Giyu actually remembered Murata’s name properly.

A swordsman who manifests the mark experiences a significant increase in physical abilities.

A swordsman who manifests the mark experiences a significant increase in physical abilities.

The marks that appear on the body in the story are an important point.

It’s said that swordsmen who manifest these marks are called “marked ones,” and their physical abilities increase dramatically.

In the Entertainment District arc, Tanjiro manifests his mark, and in the Swordsmith Village arc, Muichiro and Mitsuri manifest theirs—making it increasingly clear that this is a crucial element of the narrative.

It’s also interesting that, as the story progresses, the conditions for manifestation—such as “a heart rate exceeding 200” and “a body temperature of 39°C or higher”—become known.

It makes you curious how this will tie into the story moving forward.
