It’s a hidden gem by L’Arc~en~Ciel.

It was released as a video single in 1995 and re-released on DVD in 2003.

It came out to coincide with the start of the “in CLUB ’95” concert tour.

L’Arc~en~Ciel had previously released a track called “Nemuri ni yosete” as a video single as well, but it didn’t catch on.

This became their last video single.

It was chosen as the theme song for the Japanese-dubbed version of Resident Evil.

The limited first pressing is in LP format, and the jacket features a special finish where the members turn into zombies when viewed from different angles.

The song’s world-building is quintessential L’Arc—highly recommended.

At the height of their popularity, drummer sakura was arrested, leading the band to suspend activities.

This was the first single released after their return from the hiatus.

The feel of the music and the entirety of the lyrics are grand, making it a deeply moving song to listen to.

It feels like watching a film, and just reading the lyrics is touching.

This is the only single they released as a three-member lineup.

Released simultaneously with “HONEY,” this track drew considerable attention.

The song itself evokes the theme of death, standing in stark contrast to “HONEY,” whose jacket design is similar.

It was originally created as the B-side to “HONEY,” but after a tie-in was decided, it was changed to a single cut.

This song, included as the third track on the 1996 album “True,” depicts humanity being toyed with by God.

A rearranged version by P’UNK~EN~CIEL, L’Arc-en-Ciel’s member part-switching band, was also included as a coupling track on the 2005 single “Killing Me.”

This is a track included as the first song on L’Arc〜en〜Ciel’s third album, “Heavenly.” According to lyricist hyde, it’s “not just a simple love song, but one that weaves in indirect irony,” and was “written to satirize human foolishness,” yet the music itself remains poppy and refreshing.

With its sparkling guitar sound and hyde’s sweet, vivid vocals, it’s a pleasantly enjoyable number.
