White LoversKuwata Keisuke

It’s Keisuke Kuwata’s 7th solo single, released in October 2001.
A transparent, heart-shaped vinyl version was also issued.
This applies not only to his solo songs but also when singing Southern All Stars songs: since Kuwata has a very distinctive vocal style, try to sing it without slipping into an impersonation of him.
I think it’s a great song with a simple melody that’s easy to sing and remember.
That said, if you’re performing it in front of a big group of friends, going all-in on an impersonation could be fun, too! There’s a falsetto at the end of the chorus, but the line isn’t very difficult, so it could be good for practicing your falsetto as well.
Daphne (winter daphne)DISH//

This is the 14th single by the Japanese dance-rock band DISH//, released on November 17, 2021.
It was selected as the theme song for the NTV Saturday drama “The Winner in February: The Classroom of Guaranteed Acceptance.” It’s a very heartwarming, mid-tempo pop song with a vocal melody that’s easy to hum and remember, so even those who aren’t confident singers should be able to sing it fairly comfortably.
If the high notes feel a bit tough in the original key, try lowering the key when singing at karaoke.
If you place your voice so it resonates against the upper palate inside your mouth, you can achieve a bright, shimmering tone like the original singer—give it a try.
I love youback number

This is back number’s sixth digital single, released in October 2022.
It was chosen as the theme song for the NHK morning drama “Soar!” The track is crafted as a rock ballad in which vocalist Iyori Shimizu’s distinctly masculine voice resonates deeply.
The vocal melody flows beautifully, making it easy to remember and sing along to, even for karaoke.
Centered around the chorus melody, there are several high notes where you’ll need to switch to falsetto; being able to transition smoothly there is likely the key to delivering this song well.
Theme of Lupin the ThirdFujiwara Kikuo

It’s not widely known, but the popular anime Lupin the Third actually has a version of its theme song with lyrics.
The key is on the lower side, so it’s easy to sing even if you can’t hit high notes.
It’s a slightly old-school choice for karaoke, but since everyone knows the tune, it might actually go over well.
Promise of SunflowersHata Motohiro

This is Motohiro Hata’s 17th single, released in August 2014.
It became the theme song for the animated film “STAND BY ME Doraemon” and was a hit that also had many other tie-ins.
It’s a gentle ballad, and while some people who aren’t confident singers might feel hesitant when it’s recommended to them, the melody is very simple and beautiful, and once you actually try singing it, there aren’t many difficult parts.
So don’t be afraid—give it a try.
If high notes are tough for you, lowering the key by two or three steps should make it manageable for most male singers.
Just be careful with the transition between chest voice and falsetto around the end of the first verse (A-melody).
Gray and Blue (+Masaki Suda)Yonezu Kenshi

A song by Kenshi Yonezu, it was released on various music streaming services in October 2017 as an advance release from Yonezu’s fourth original album “BOOTLEG,” and later released on CD as the album on November 1.
It was produced with actor Masaki Suda as a guest vocalist, and it’s interesting how the song title is written as “Grey and Blue (+Masaki Suda).” True to Kenshi Yonezu’s style, the track features a very catchy and memorable melody.
It’s easy to learn, so as long as you set the key to suit your voice, almost anyone should be able to sing it comfortably.
ApolloPorunogurafiti

It was Porno Graffitti’s major-label debut single, released in 1999.
I remember hearing it often in various settings, though it debuted at No.
84 on the Oricon charts and peaked at No.
5 weekly.
In the end, it became a hit, selling over 400,000 copies.
The rhythm might be tricky at first, but it’s a fast-paced song that’s great for karaoke.
Among Porno Graffitti’s songs, it’s not that high in pitch, so I think the key is comfortable for most men to sing.
