Karaoke for Beginners: Easy-to-Sing Songs for Men (41–50)
catDISH//

It was released as a coupling track to DISH//’s 10th single, “We Did It.” Later (in April 2020), an acoustic version was released digitally as “Neko – THE FIRST TAKE ver.” It’s a very gentle song that conveys a warm, heartwarming atmosphere.
The vocal melody itself is very simple and easy to remember, and the vocal range used isn’t very wide, so I think it’s quite easy for anyone to sing.
Since the song is built on a slightly bouncing beat, be careful not to let the vocal rhythm become flat.
If you try singing so that the sound resonates against the roof of your mouth, you can reproduce a voice rich in higher overtones like the original performer’s—give it a try.
From inside the windowBUMP OF CHICKEN

It’s the coupling track on BUMP OF CHICKEN’s 28th CD single, “SOUVENIR,” released in April 2023.
It was reportedly created for “BUMP OF CHICKEN 18-sai Matsuri,” which aired on NHK General TV on March 31, 2023.
It’s a medium-tempo song with a gentle, memorable melody, and the vocal line is basically very easy to sing and remember, so even people who aren’t confident singers should be able to hum along casually.
However, there’s a section sung a cappella in the latter half of the song, so please be careful to keep the rhythm there.
Promise of SunflowersHata Motohiro

This is Motohiro Hata’s 17th single, released in August 2014.
It became the theme song for the animated film “STAND BY ME Doraemon” and was a hit that also had many other tie-ins.
It’s a gentle ballad, and while some people who aren’t confident singers might feel hesitant when it’s recommended to them, the melody is very simple and beautiful, and once you actually try singing it, there aren’t many difficult parts.
So don’t be afraid—give it a try.
If high notes are tough for you, lowering the key by two or three steps should make it manageable for most male singers.
Just be careful with the transition between chest voice and falsetto around the end of the first verse (A-melody).
At all times.Makihara Noriyuki

Even if other people have lots to say about it, I want to proudly declare that what I like is what I like.
That might cause some people to drift away.
But even with that risk, this is a song about the strength to stay true to yourself.
It’s a classic that, if you sing it at karaoke, someone is sure to hum along.
Tsubasaandāgurafu

Undergraf is the band that rocketed to stardom with the song Tsubasa.
With a goosebump-inducing intro and lyrics that evoke the start of a journey, the track earned strong support from many fans.
Its melody sits in a lower vocal range, which likely makes it popular because it’s easier to sing at karaoke.
To tell you the truth,yangusukinii

This is the second single by Young Skinny, a four-piece rock band from Japan, released in October 2022.
I think it’s a charming mid-tempo track with a slightly heartwarming vibe.
The vocal melody doesn’t span a very wide range, so in that sense it feels very easy to sing as well.
If you make sure to feel the accents of the snare drum in the backing track while you sing, that alone can make it sound pretty good—so give it a try! I also recommend having fun by imitating the artist’s slightly distinctive singing style.
Blue BenchSasuke

This was Sasuke’s debut single, released in April 2004.
It’s a refreshing song with a somewhat nostalgic feel.
The melody line is very straightforward and simple for a post-2000s track, so even people who aren’t confident singers or who struggle with karaoke will likely find it approachable and relatively easy to sing.
The vocal range used isn’t that wide either.
Just be mindful when setting the key, since there’s a high falsetto at the end of the chorus and a spot where the pitch rises in the big chorus (bridge into the final chorus?).
If you keep the overall delivery light and gentle, I think you’ll be able to sing it nicely!
