Your eyes are 10,000 voltsHoriuchi Takao

Released in 1978 as a solo single by Takao Horiuchi, who was then a member of the popular New Music group Alice, the song sold over 900,000 copies.

Even listening again now, Horiuchi’s masculine vocals shine on a track with a very simple, catchy chorus melody, making it easy to see why it achieved such strong sales.

It’s also a song without any particularly difficult sections for karaoke, so try singing it while being careful not to rush the rhythm.

You’ll likely get great results!

Ruby RingTerao Akira

This was Akira Terao’s sixth single, released on February 5, 1981.

I recall that around the time the song came out, I saw or heard Terao in an interview saying that he composed it with the hit songs of Alice in mind.

Now that he mentions it, the song does seem to have a certain catchiness that brings Alice’s music to mind.

When singing it at karaoke, it may be difficult to hit the low notes accurately in the original key, so if you’re not confident with your lower range, try raising the key.

Incidentally, Terao himself reportedly raised the key when performing this song on TV and elsewhere at the time, compared to the original studio version.

Hi! Mckee by Okazaki Taiiku.

This song is a collaboration with the well-known oil-based marker “Mackee.” While it’s still a comic song, its musical style is surprisingly put together as bona fide funk.

It’s groovy, yet very easy to keep the rhythm, and there aren’t many long sustained notes, so you don’t have to worry about going off pitch.

It might be a bit hard to rack up bonus points, but there aren’t any sudden jumps in pitch, so give it a try.

A track included on Okazaki Taiiku’s fourth full-length original album, “FIGHT CLUB,” which was released in October 2021.

The song was released digitally in advance of the album.

With its bright, medium-to-up-tempo feel and slightly comical lyrics, it’s a tune that just makes you feel good simply by listening.

Both the vocal melody and the lyrics are very straightforward, with nothing particularly gimmicky, so it might be the perfect choice if you want to aim for a perfect 100 at karaoke.

That said, I think it’s more fun not to worry about the score and just belt it out to your heart’s content!

HouyouKawaharada Shinichi

This is the sixth single by Japanese actor Shinichi Kawaharada, released in December 2020.

In fact, I produced this track.

Since the request came from Mr.

Kawaharada, whose main profession is acting, I focused on making it as easy to sing as possible.

Because of that, I believe it’s a song that makes it very easy for anyone to aim for a perfect score at karaoke.

Try singing it while carefully following the melody.

I’m sure you’ll get a high score!
