Ehime Festival Calendar [2026]: A Roundup of Music Festivals and Outdoor Events

“Toon Festival 2026 BEAT & EAT in TOON!!” is a free admission music event held in the parking lot of Lespace City/COOLS Mall adjacent to Botchan Theater, as part of the “Art Village Toon Initiative,” which aims to establish Toon City in Ehime Prefecture as a sanctuary for performing arts. In addition to music and dance performances, the day will be enlivened by a mochi-throwing ceremony, kitchen trucks, and merchandise booths, perfect for a Sunday outing. Scheduled for May 2026.

A chill festival where you lay towels on the lawn of the Towel Museum and enjoy music while relaxing as you like. With the concepts of “Fabric” and “Sound,” it weaves a one-day-only space where rhythms, reverberations, ambient noises, and human voices overlap—just like threads layering into a single piece of cloth. The venue is the Towel Museum Garden in Imabari, Ehime. Featuring artists such as Michael Kaneko, Tavito Nanao, and kojikoji, this new outdoor music festival will be held in May 2026.
