March Music Festivals [2026]: A roundup of music events such as spring festivals and outdoor rock festivals

This is a spring music event hosted by Nagoya’s TV station, Me~tele. Spring is a season when many people experience farewells and changes to new environments. Whether you’re leaving your hometown or coming to Nagoya for the first time, the event is held across a TV studio and a temple so you can step outside with the same feeling as going flower-viewing and casually enjoy music and the city of Nagoya. In addition to club music and performances by trending artists, there’s also a market and food area, so you can have fun all day!

This event has been held since 2013, launched by the Osaka Sakai-based bands GOOD 4 NOTHING and THE CHINA WIFE MOTORS out of a desire to give back to their hometown. The venue has been in Sakai City since the beginning, and the event is deeply rooted in Sakai, with booths introducing local food, clothing, housing, and various cultures. This year, the venue has been moved to Sakai City’s Umi to no Fureai Hiroba, featuring an outdoor stage. With the event taking place at the end of May, the weather should be just right for a comfortable and enjoyable time.

A spring festival organized by YUMEBANCHI, a company that plans and produces events, kicked off in Okayama in 2023. For locals, it’s exciting not to have to travel out of the prefecture to see those artists come to Okayama! The festival features two stages, the SOLID STAGE and the STRIPED STAGE, so if there’s an artist you absolutely want to be up front for, it’s a good idea to check the setlists in advance and plan accordingly.
