When I attended my first music festival as a freshman in college, I was captivated by its charm—“I can’t believe there’s a place this free and this fun.” I share information about wonderful music festivals every day to help grow the community of festival fans.

We’ve put together a roundup of music events happening in March, including spring festivals, jazz festivals, and circuit-style festivals.

This year is packed with exciting events like Tenjin Ototaku, SANUKI ROCK COLOSSEUM, and Umekoji Fest!

The popular circuit festival Mihatodai, held in Osaka’s Minami district, will be taking place in Tokyo again this year. Each year it features a large number of performers, and with nine venues on the schedule, this famous Kansai circuit event is finally becoming firmly established in the Kanto region as well.
