DEJIMA ExpoMay 2 (Sat) – 6 (Wed) Nagasaki Prefecture
DEJIMA Expo is a Golden Week event held annually by Nagasaki International Television to promote regional exchange and regional revitalization, and in 2016 it was certified as the first project of the Nagasaki City Revitalization Project. The venue is Water and Greenery Park facing Nagasaki Port, where visitors can enjoy sea breezes as a variety of stages and vendor booths spread out. In addition to live music, its hallmark is a lineup that people of all ages can enjoy, including a gourmet festival and activities for children. It will be held in May 2026.

Onagawa Alternative Rock Festival SpringSunday, May 3 — Miyagi Prefecture
Onagawa Alternative Rock Festival 2026 Spring is a free-admission rock event to be held in May 2026 at the coastal plaza in Onagawa, Miyagi Prefecture. Eight bands gathered from Tohoku and the Kanto region will perform classic tracks of Western alternative rock from the 1990s to the 2000s. The venue will be equipped with chairs, tables, and tents, with food stalls and kitchen cars lined up, making it a day you can enjoy even in the rain. The event is organized by the guitar shop GLIDE, embracing the concept of bringing together fans of alternative rock to have a great time.

The Kesennuma Kazemachi Festival is a music event held at the Roadside Station Otani Coast in Kesennuma City, Miyagi Prefecture, and this year marks Vol. 7. VTUBER EXPO 2026 is an interactive exposition dedicated to VTubers, billed as the world’s first of its kind. On the first floor of Bellesalle Akihabara, visitors can “become” a VTuber through motion capture, talk with VTubers at special booths, enjoy a dedicated stage featuring mini live performances and talk shows by popular VTubers, and explore exhibits from related companies—among many other attractions. Senju Fresh is an urban festival where diverse cultures born from the streets of Senju—DJing, skateboarding, BMX, rap, art, taiko drumming, food, fashion, and more—intersect.
