Hiroshima Minato FestaHiroshima Prefecture, Sat 3/14–Sun 3/15

This is a large-scale event held every March with the aim of connecting Hiroshima’s city and sea. The venue features a rich lineup, including popular food and drink vendors selected from across the country—along with beloved local spots—hands-on maritime activities you can enjoy by boarding a boat, and events on Ninoshima Island. At the Minato Stage music event, you can enjoy performances ranging from artists with ties to Hiroshima to up-and-coming next-generation musicians. There are plenty of activities for families to enjoy together.

KURUME MUSIC FES.Sun, Mar 8 – Fukuoka Prefecture

An admission-free event will be held with the theme of uplifting hearts through music in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture, so that a wide range of people can enjoy music. The stage will be energized mainly by artists from Kurume. Since it’s being held in their hometown, every artist will be giving passionate performances you won’t want to miss. There will also be food and drink stalls from popular Kurume eateries, so you can enjoy meals and alcohol. It’s a great event even for those attending an outdoor festival for the first time!

Kameyama Music JamboreeSun, 3/8 – Mie Prefecture

This is an audition-style event for amateur bands that started in 2010 in Kameyama City, Mie Prefecture. Anyone engaged in musical activities, from young people to seniors, can participate as long as they are amateur citizens. Several screening stages are held before performing on stage, including audio and performance reviews, and the 10 bands that make it through compete live on the day for the Kameyama Music Jamboree Award. Come enjoy the energetic, high-level music of these bands live at the venue.
