Tokyo Music Festivals [2026]: Outdoor Festivals and Events Summary

SPOOKY PUMPKIN is a collaborative festival by Sanrio Puroland and the music production company Melody Fair Inc. Held since 2013, it’s a popular event that sells out every year. The highlight is the collaborative live performances by artists and Sanrio characters. Also, since November 1 is Hello Kitty’s birthday, everyone counts down together to celebrate, and there are special productions to enjoy each year. Asagaya Jazz Street began in 1995 with the motto, “Brightening and enlivening Asagaya with jazz.” This event, where the town overflows with jazz, is run by local volunteers, and its handmade, community-driven nature is one of its key attractions.

Mezamashi Live is one of the projects held as part of Odaiba Minna no Yume Tairiku, a summer event hosted by Fuji TV and set in Odaiba. On a special stage that appears in Odaiba, one act performs live each day with a different lineup. A jazz event originating from the Seto Inland Sea—rich in history and culture—will be held in Tokyo as a sister event.
