Chofu International Music FestivalTokyo, June 20 (Sat)–28 (Sun)

The Chofu International Music Festival is a music festival focused mainly on classical music, held every early summer across the city of Chofu in Tokyo. Since its launch in 2013 under the name “Chofu Music Festival,” it has been beloved for its lineup that balances a handmade sensibility with high quality, led by executive producer Masato Suzuki. Under the slogan “Delicious music, bon appétit,” the event will be held in June 2026.

MARGARITA FIESTASat, 6/20, Tokyo Metropolis

The tequila brand “Cuervo” is curating a Margarita Fiesta. In 2026, it will be held in collaboration with the outdoor music party from LA, “The Do-Over TOKYO,” bringing together guest DJs from overseas and Japan at Taiyo no Hiroba in Odaiba’s Shiokaze Park. Known for its secret, unannounced mystery guests, the event heralds the start of summer with a wide spectrum of sounds—from hip-hop and funk to disco and house—set against the open, breezy waterfront. NU FestivalFri 6/26–Sun 6/28, Tokyo

NU Festival is a new urban festival where music, art, and technology intersect, set in Takanawa Gateway City, Tokyo. Welcoming the international festival Sónar from Barcelona as a collaborator, it embraces the concept of NEXT × NEW × UNITY. Kunion 100 Fest!Fri 6/26–Sun 6/28, Tokyo

This is the flagship project commemorating the 100th anniversary of Kunitachi College of Music. In June 2026, over three days, a diverse lineup of performances will unfold: “Grand Gala” and “Ensemble of Memories” at Suntory Hall, “Campus Harmony” on the Kunitachi campus, and “Circle of Music” at Tachikawa Stage Garden. Highlights include the world premiere of a commissioned work by Joe Hisaishi and a stage featuring alumni artists under the overall direction of Satoshi Takebe.
