Lifelong Learning Festival: Kamanofuchi Fresh Greenery FestivalSat 5/9–Sun 5/10, Tokyo
This is a community-focused event hosted by the Ome City Board of Education as part of the Lifelong Learning Festival, where various local circles active in the city showcase the results of their regular practice. The venues span Kamanofuchi Park along the Tama River, the Former Miyazaki Residence within the park, and the S&D Tamagu Center, a cultural exchange hub. A shuttle bus connects the lush Tama nature in fresh greenery with key spots around town. A diverse array of stages—including singing, dancing, and instrumental performances—will be featured, and the event will be held in May 2026.

Global Environment Eco Concert Ocarina East Story Before the Morning SunSunday, May 10, Tokyo
The Earth Environment Eco Concert “Ocarina East Story” is a free outdoor concert by ocarina player EAST KIMURA. Rainbow Park Music Entertainment, which supports the initiative, was launched in 1997 as the music division of Daiichi Construction. Guided by the philosophy “People live with people, and live with nature,” it aims to share culture across borders and languages. The event will be held in May 2026 at the Ikebukuro Nishiguchi Park Outdoor Theater, Global Ring Theatre.

The Hibiya Live Performance Award is a new award by Tokyo Midtown Hibiya that honors emerging talent. From the applications, nine finalist groups will be selected to showcase their performances on the main stage at the Hibiya Step Plaza before judges and attendees. Open to all genres, it will be held on May 10, 2026, as part of HIBIYA LIVE FESTIVAL 2026, where a wide array of talents will gather.

Edogawa Music FestivalSunday, May 10, Tokyo
A music festival originating in Edogawa City, first held in 2025. Commemorating the 100th year of the Showa era, it embraces the concept of sharing classic Showa-era pop songs across generations. Centered on live performances by amateur musicians who live, work, or study in the ward, it features a contest format with screening and awards. For its second edition in 2026, the application period has been extended until the end of February, passing on a community-rooted music culture to the next generation.

Tokyo Tokyo Delicious Museum is a gourmet festival packed with Tokyo’s diverse culinary charms. At Ariake’s Symbol Promenade Park, four zones—Tokyo Delicious, Edo, Food Journey, and Market & Culinary Culture Experiences—will feature signature dishes from popular restaurants, the four great cuisines of Edo, and distinctive dishes from across Japan, all in one place. Live performances by jazz artists, DJs, and bands will take place at the Stone and Light Plaza and the Flower Plaza. The event will be held in May 2026.

Set against the backdrop of Kasai Rinkai Park’s Shiokaze Plaza, this free-admission event features a variety of live performances—such as dance and music—during the day, and outdoor film screenings after sunset. Its hallmark is the relaxed time you can spend in a space surrounded by the lush greenery of the expansive park. For the May 16, 2026 edition, the nighttime screening is scheduled to be the animated film “FLY!”, and a talk show by comedians Nagano and Sankyu Kurata is also planned.
