TEAM SHACHI are the treasured idols from Nagoya belonging to STARDUST PLANET—home to the likes of Momoiro Clover Z and Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku—often called “StaPla.” When they were a six, and later a five-member group, they were active under the name Team Syachihoko.
Honoka’s glamour, Nao’s power, Yuzuki’s cuteness, Haruna’s sense of humor—no matter which member you stan, you can’t go wrong.

Their live staple “Dakishimete Anthem,” a STARDUST milestone covered by countless idol groups, is a must-listen recommendation!
SILENT WITNESSMaze

Born in Nagoya, the idol group MAZE is a fresh newcomer formed in 2022, yet they’re attracting attention with their unique “idol × band” style.
Armed with a musical approach they call “theme-park metalcore,” rooted in metalcore, they perform both band-set and idol-set live shows, showcasing their wide expressive range.
In October 2023, they released singles such as “SILENT WITNESS” and “IDOL RIOT,” steadily building their track record with appearances at major rock festivals.
Blending a heavy sound with cuteness, their music is recommended for listeners seeking something new.
SAKURA FLAVORSAKURA GRADUATION

SAKURA GRADUATION was formed in 2023 as a limited-time girls’ group taking flight from Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture.
The six members, selected through an audition program, are developing a unique aesthetic that brilliantly fuses Japanese pop culture—idols, anime, and cosplay—on a J-pop foundation.
They made their major debut in February 2024 and have been highly active, including successfully completing a tour across seven major cities nationwide.
True to their concept of being a “girls’ group that takes flight to the world,” they also serve as support ambassadors for the World Cosplay Summit.
As a limited-time unit active until March 2027, they are charging toward goals such as a performance at Nippon Budokan and winning the Best New Artist award at the Japan Record Awards.
They’re highly recommended for those who love Japanese pop culture and for anyone moved by artists who shine within a limited time.

Formed in 2018, “Kimi ni, Mune Kyun.” is a Nagoya-based female idol group known for bright, catchy melodies rooted in pop.
Their debut track is an up-tempo song themed around romance, and they’re loved for creating many energizing tunes.
In September 2019, they successfully held their first solo concert, and since then they’ve actively continued with regular shows and anniversary performances.
In August 2023, they marked their 5th anniversary with a concert at Aichi Prefectural Arts Theater’s Main Hall, steadily expanding their fan base.

Gangan☆DanceOS☆U

OS☆U is now a long-established idol group in Nagoya.
Of course, OS☆U comes from “Osu.” There are even fans who play on the phrase “Owari Nagoya wa shiro de motsu” (“Owari Nagoya is supported by its castle”) and say, “Owari Nagoya is supported by OS☆U.” Their official Twitter has over 10,000 followers! They often engage in activities to promote the Aonami Line and take part in PR for Aichi Prefecture.
Like AKB48, they’re divided into teams, but there isn’t enough space here to list them all.
Personally, I like the selected unit “Manekineko from OS☆U”! By the way, their music producer is Kenichi Yufu, who, under another name, has also written songs for HKT48, JUJU, and others.
If I had to pick one song, it would definitely be “Gangan☆Dance”!

By 2015, they had grown into a group capable of holding a solo concert at Zepp Nagoya.
Some of you may recognize the coined term “Sushidoru,” which combines sushi and idol.
