[2026] Nagoya-Origin Idol Groups Roundup (21–30)
Ye-YoDaremo shiranai.

“Daremo Shiranai” is a girls’ rock idol group from Nagoya that launched on February 6, 2021.
Officially, there’s a small circle punctuation mark after “Shiranai.” Calling them idols almost feels inadequate—their stage presence is overwhelming, and each member’s vocal and performance skills are a cut above other idol groups.
Kohano’s charm, Nekobō’s deadpan cool, Minato-chan’s power, Momose’s swagger, and Noa-chan’s piercing gaze—these five have such vivid characters that you really need to see them live at least once to savor their appeal.
The rap after the second verse of their song “Ye-Yo” is insanely cool! Even if you’re short on time, give it a listen!
Cleaning is important.Nagoya CLEAR’S

Cleaning Unit CLEAR’S—and its Chubu region representative, Nagoya CLEAR’S.
Launched in 2011, CLEAR’S was created with the concept of volunteer activities, and its unique approach of combining “cleaning activities + idols” quickly caught on and spread nationwide.
Among them, I personally think Nagoya CLEAR’S is the most energetic in their activities.
Their current 13-member lineup also has great momentum! There’s even a rumor that if you listen to Tokai Radio’s “Midnight Special — Kinshachi Theater,” you’re guaranteed to become a fan.
I also really hope the currently inactive Osaka CLEAR’S and Yokohama CLEAR’S will resume their activities!

I kind of want to try saying I like you.wagamama HOLiC

Wagamama HOLiC is a willful-girl idol group from Nagoya that launched with the concept of “enjoying whatever you want to do to the fullest!!” They debuted in January 2021, so they’re still a group brimming with huge potential.
They perform live every weekend and are truly an “idol you can meet right now.” In June last year, new member Miyu Shirayuki joined, powering up their ‘self-indulgence’ even more! Personally, I’m hooked on Suzu-chan’s occasional nonsensical tweets, and I also keep an eye on Ai-chan’s dark-themed Instagram.
They’re a group that’s sure to break out soon!
Worker Bee AnthemBEE×SWAT

The rock-style idol unit BEE×SWAT, active out of Nagoya, debuted in November 2016 and delivered performances as sharp as a bee and as powerful as a special forces team.
They began as a five-member group and, while performing actively at live houses in Nagoya, also appeared in regional events such as IDOLISM JAPAN #2 in Moriyama, Shiga Prefecture.
Their appeal lay in J-pop grounded in rock and energetic dance performances that showcased each member’s individuality.
In September 2017, they changed their name to 7FACE8, infusing the new name—riffing on the Japanese phrase for “a bee on a tear-streaked face” (meaning adding insult to injury)—with a strong will to overcome hardship.
Despite member changes, they continued their activities, but their main activities eventually faded out naturally.
They are a group music fans who love powerful performances and rock sounds should definitely know about.

Producer Saori Hashimoto is responsible for much of the music production and lyrics, and is highly regarded for her emotionally rich lyrics and distinctive musical style.

As a result, their performances are highly unique, and their close connection with fans is a major part of their appeal.
The beauties of nature — flowers, birds, wind, and the moon (a poetic expression appreciating nature’s elegance)SHIROMIZAKANA

Debuting in November 2022, SHIROMIZAKANA is a seven-member idol group based in Nagoya whose theme is “emotional and deep,” characterized by catchy yet emotive Japanese rock.
In February 2023, they released their first mini-album, SHIROMIZAKANA, featuring songs that captured fans’ hearts.
Through release events and live shows, they’ve steadily expanded their fanbase.
Each of the seven uniquely talented members brings a different background, delivering passionate performances on stage.
As a music-focused idol group, they’re bringing a fresh breeze with emotionally rich, story-driven music that goes beyond the usual bounds of idol songs.
A must-check group recommended for fans of Japanese rock.
Until I decide to graduatetinku♪

An irresistibly cute, pastel-colored, soft-and-fluffy, ultra-classic idol unit.
They’ve gone through multiple member changes, and their former group name “Tinker☆Bell” brings back memories.
At Zepp Nagoya in 2020 they drew 1,503 fans—proof that they’re a top-tier idol group in both popularity and performance.
The current leader Mirurun’s “Ohayou, Mirurun!” is the morning catchphrase, and Rin-chan’s recently started TikTok is too cute—there’s no wrong choice no matter who you stan, which is exactly what makes this group special! Their little-sister unit “Rizm☆Attention” is also a must-check!
