SoupFujihara Sakura

This is Sakura Fujiwara’s debut single, released in June 2016.
Incidentally, the lyrics, composition, and production were handled by Masaharu Fukuyama.
The vocal melody doesn’t use extremely low or high notes throughout the song, so it might be an ideal karaoke choice for women who feel hesitant about singing due to a limited vocal range.
The song maintains a relaxed, heartwarming mood from start to finish, so while keeping a slightly bouncy groove, be careful not to rush the vocals or make the pronunciation of the lyrics sound rough.
It seems there’s also a version sung by Masaharu Fukuyama, who produced the track, so it could be helpful to check that out as a reference.
Pure AsiaPUFFY

PUFFY’s debut single, released in May 1996.
It was used in a Kirin Beverage “Tennen Sodachi” commercial featuring the duo themselves, and became a breakthrough hit, achieving million-seller status right out of the gate.
Incidentally, the lyrics were written by Yosui Inoue and the composition/arrangement by Tamio Okuda; the two later produced a self-cover version as well.
It’s a medium- to up-tempo, feel-good track that makes you happy just by listening! In the 1990s, when this song was made, songs that were frequently sung at karaoke—and easy to sing at karaoke—were considered key to a hit.
Reflecting that trend, “Asia no Junshin” was crafted to be very easy to sing even for those with a limited vocal range or who aren’t confident singers.
Don’t overthink it—just hum along and have fun.
Just be sure to keep solidly in time with the rhythm.
You don’t listen to rock.aimyon

This is Aimyon’s third major single, released in August 2017.
It’s a fine, medium-tempo track that really lets you savor the charm of Aimyon’s slightly husky vocals.
The acoustic guitar strumming that you can hear throughout the backing track is also very pleasant.
The vocal melody doesn’t span a particularly wide range, making it an ideal choice for karaoke if you’re not confident about your vocal range.
Just before the final chorus—in other words, at the end of the D-melody section—there’s a slightly higher note.
If your voice sounds weak there, it can spoil the song, so I recommend adjusting the key so you can sing that part powerfully.
Singing with a slight laid-back feel will help you better capture the vibe of the original, so be sure to give that a try!
LOOPKamishiraishi Mone

A digital-only single by Mone Kamishiraishi, released in December 2023.
It was produced as the theme song for the special drama “Jitenshinagara Kōten Suru,” which aired on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV in December 2023.
The song is very gentle, with a warm, laid-back mood throughout, so even singers without a wide vocal range should be able to choose it for karaoke and sing it comfortably.
If the singing becomes forceful, it can ruin the song’s atmosphere, so try to maintain a soft touch from start to finish.
Aim to sing as if you’re slowly and softly exhaling, and try to place the voice broadly inside your mouth; doing so should help you achieve a pleasant sound.
Give it a try.
First KO victoryshiina ringo to nocchi

Recently, Ringo Sheena has been lighting up the charts with collaborations alongside major artists.
Among her collaborative works, the one I especially recommend is “Hatsu KO Kachi” featuring Nocchi from Perfume.
The track is arranged with a vibe reminiscent of 1970s and 1980s kayōkyoku (Japanese pop).
With that background, the song’s vocal range is relatively narrow.
It’s a very singable piece for people who struggle with high notes or very low notes.
Definitely give it a try.
Love each other.Sakurazaka46

Keyakizaka46 is a Japanese idol group popular with both men and women, especially among younger generations.
While they tackle a wide range of musical styles, their recently released “Aishiai Nasai” is crafted in a synth-pop style that evokes late-1980s idols.
Because the vocal range is narrow, it’s a very singable song for women in their 40s and 50s who enjoy music in the vein of the former duo Wink.
The rhythm is also very easy to get into, so give it a try.
fortnighteill

Eill is a female singer-songwriter who has gained popularity with a stylish sound inspired by Western music.
If you’re a woman looking for chic tracks, you’ve probably heard her songs at least once.
Among eill’s catalog, the one I especially recommend for women with lower voices is “fortnight.” It’s a refreshing track, but the A section is centered around low notes, and both the B section and the chorus are built mainly around mid-range, which helps emphasize the depth and richness of a lower female vocal.
