[For Women] Songs with a narrow vocal range and easy key adjustment! (31–40)
femme fatale Amurasaki ima

Ms.
Shion, a female singer-songwriter who debuted with Sony Records in 2024.
She’s a young singer drawing attention for her wide musical range, from orthodox J-pop to songs with a Western flair and even traditional Japanese tones.
Among her works, the track I especially recommend is “Masho no Onna A” (Femme Fatale A).
While the vocal range sits in the mid-to-high register and isn’t low, the overall range is quite narrow.
If the falsetto transition from the C-melody into the rap section is difficult, try lowering the key by one or two semitones.
illusionRyokushokushakai

Ryokuoushoku Shakai is often associated with songs in a high vocal range, but “illusion,” which started streaming in July 2025, has a comfortable key with little range variation, so it’s easier to sing.
If you like Ryokushaka but feel their songs are too high to sing, this one is a great challenge! The number-one point of this song is the rhythm.
It has a constant, stepping-like groove, and once you slip out of it, it’s hard to get back in—but using your body or hands while singing makes it easier to lock into the groove.
It’s best to learn the lyrics and melody to some extent before you try singing.
It’s a cool track, so let’s learn it together!
Fall in LoveSuiet

If you’re looking for songs with a narrow vocal range, I also recommend trying male artists’ tracks.
One I’d like to introduce is “Fall in Love.” It’s a song by Suiet, a young singer-songwriter who used to perform under the name sui.
This track leans fully into jazz, and every section swings nicely.
The range is very limited, with no particularly high or low parts, so if you enjoy singing in the low-to-mid register, definitely give it a try.
Bunny GirlAKASAKI

The song “Bunny Girl,” which gained nationwide popularity on TikTok and Instagram, is a signature work by the young singer-songwriter AKASAKI.
Despite its catchy rhythm and flow, the piece surprisingly stays within a narrow vocal range.
For a recent hit, it boasts an exceptionally limited range, so not only women with lower voices but also those who can’t hit high notes at all should be able to sing it without trouble.
If you want it to sound even better, we recommend incorporating a whispery tone known as a “whisper voice.”
I want tomorrow to comeSakurazaka46

Among the Sakamichi idol groups, Keyakizaka46 is especially known for their stylish musicality.
Lately, their cool sound has become even more refined, and now they’ve dropped an incredibly stylish track: “I want tomorrow to come.” This song effectively incorporates elements of rap, rock, and classical music.
Although there are key changes, the overall vocal range is quite narrow, making the vocal lines relatively easy.
The rap sections are also easy to perform, so give it a try.

I can’t say it.Furui Riho

Furui Riho is a female singer-songwriter who has gained popularity for her R&B-centered musical style.
Since entering the 2020s, she has been rapidly gaining momentum.
She has produced many great songs, but the one I especially recommend is Ienai wa.
This piece has a slightly jazzy flavor and keeps to a narrow vocal range throughout.
Because it features almost none of the advanced vocal techniques common in R&B, such as ad-libbed runs, it’s not only limited in range but also relatively simple as a song in terms of difficulty.
sympathyDAZBEE

DAZBEE is an artist from South Korea who energizes Japan’s utaite scene.
Her biggest appeal is, without a doubt, her vocal timbre.
She’s known for a clear, translucent, high voice.
Because of that, people with a narrower vocal range might naturally shy away from her songs.
That’s why I recommend Sympathy.
It may seem high at first, but since the vocal lines are concentrated in the higher range, lowering the key makes it perfectly singable even for those with a limited range.
