Newspaper Rock-Paper-Scissors & Balance Relay

[4-Year-Olds] Newspaper Rock-Paper-Scissors & Balance Relay
Newspaper Rock-Paper-Scissors & Balance Relay

Let’s have fun with a rock-paper-scissors game and a balance relay using newspaper.

The rock-paper-scissors game is played in pairs: after each round, the loser folds their sheet of newspaper.

The player who can no longer stand on their folded newspaper loses.

In the balance relay, you place a sheet of newspaper on your head and move along the course without dropping it.

Be careful—noticing that you want to pass the baton quickly and start running will make the newspaper fall.

Both are exciting ideas, so please enjoy them at the thank-you party.

Murugekirarai

Murugekirarai

Have you heard of the game “Murgekirarai”? The name may be unfamiliar, but “Murgekirarai” is a sport, a competitive game from India.

You stand on the floor, bend one leg at the knee and hold it with the opposite hand.

Your other hand goes behind your back.

In this one-legged stance, you collide with another person in the same pose and wrestle—essentially a one-legged sumo played while hopping.

The player who steps outside the circle loses.

If you collide and fall within the circle, you’re safe as long as you stand back up within the set time.

Try it on something soft like a mattress or grass to avoid injuries.

Text Color Game

I thought it was an easy maze, but… 😭😭😭 #puzzle #opticalillusion #Shorts
Text Color Game

It’s a simple yet quite fun activity: the “text color game.” You answer with the color in which the word is printed on paper, not the word’s meaning.

For example, if the word “aka” (red) is printed in green, you must answer “midori” (green).

It’s a trick that makes you accidentally say the written word “aka” instead.

Try printing various words in different colors on a single sheet.

You can also write them large on a whiteboard and color them in.

It’s a game where speeding up makes the confusion more entertaining.

Who’s Singing? Quiz

We did a “Who’s singing?” quiz at the March birthday party ✨ Everyone, make your guesses in the comments and tell us the number!Arima Shirayuri KindergartenKawasaki CityAspiring childcare workerAspiring childcare worker

♪ Original Song – Arima Shirayuri Kindergarten – Arima Shirayuri Kindergarten

Stand on stage with a few people holding microphones, and when the music starts, sing.

However, only one person on stage should actually sing; everyone else should just pretend to sing.

Have the audience guess who is really singing.

Since speaking voices and singing voices can sound different, they’ll need to listen carefully.

The singers can be teachers or children, and it might be fun to involve parents as well.

Choose songs that everyone knows, like nursery rhymes, and enjoy!

The “Come here, come here” game

The “Come here, come here” game

The “Come Here, Come Here Game,” which lets kids have fun while moving their bodies, is a favorite among children.

After choosing a tagger, the tagger calls out to the children by saying “Come here, come here,” but the key is to leave pauses between the calls.

The children move forward in time with the calls.

When the tagger says “It’s a ghost!” everyone runs away as fast as they can.

The first person the tagger catches becomes the next tagger.

It gets more exciting if the tagger says different words before saying “It’s a ghost!” At first, it might be easier for the children to understand the rules if an adult joins in and helps run the game.

Fishing game

The two-year-old class at the nursery enjoyed a fishing game.

Cut paper into fish shapes and attach magnets.

Tie a string to a rod, put a magnet at the end, and play a fishing game.

The children have fun while focusing on catching the fish.

It gets very lively when everyone fishes together.

It’s a party game you can enjoy indoors.

Thunder Game

Thunder Game

Have the children lie on their backs, spaced so they won’t bump into their friends.

At the teacher’s cue—saying “DOKKAN!” like a thunderbolt—they flip onto their stomachs to hide their belly buttons.

If the teacher doesn’t just shout “DOKKAN!” but also teases with a rumbling “Gorogoro~…” or fakes them out by seeming to say “DOKKAN!” and instead saying “DOSSUN!”, the kids will be on edge and get even more excited.
