We’re introducing recommended indoor games and recreational activities you can enjoy at the office!
Good communication with your coworkers is essential to keeping work running smoothly.
But with everyone so busy, many people end up “only talking about work,” don’t they?
If you feel like it’s hard to ask for help or there’s no one you can consult with, we recommend trying some recreational games.
These days, opportunities like icebreakers—aimed at building rapport with those around you—are becoming more common.
By playing together and sharing enjoyable moments, conversations will naturally increase, and your work may become easier too!

Let’s Guess Exactly! Game

This is the “Guess the Exact Weight” game where you predict the weight using only your sense of touch.
Put some candies at random into an empty box, hold it with both hands, and estimate its weight.
It’s quite difficult to hit the exact number without being off by even a gram, but the person whose guess is closest—whether under or over—wins.
If you offer a luxurious prize to anyone who hits the exact weight, it’ll be even more exciting!
Mystery Box Game

It’s the “mystery box game,” where you often see people on TV variety shows sticking only their hand into a box and guessing what’s inside.
Since you don’t know what’s in there, it takes a bit of courage, doesn’t it? (lol) If you figure it out, write your answer on the board! Things like konnyaku—it’s fun to watch, but if I had to do it myself, I’d definitely freak out (lol).
Manpo Dance

If you’re looking for a way to get enough exercise indoors, we recommend “Step Counter Dance.” In this activity, you attach a pedometer somewhere on your body and dance.
The person who increases their pedometer count the most within the time limit wins.
Since everyone moves their body vigorously to boost their count, you naturally get a good workout.
Escape Game

The “escape game” you often see at theme parks these days—why not try it at your company? Set up several puzzles around the office so that people can’t leave the room unless they solve them.
You could even time the attempts and have teams compete.
Perfect Image Game

If you’re looking for a recreation activity to strengthen bonds within your company, we recommend the “Perfect Match Image Game.” In this game, you ask questions where the answer is a person, and each participant chooses the person among the group who best fits that description.
If everyone shares similar impressions of each other, the answers should line up perfectly.
Even if they don’t, just talking about why you chose that person will liven things up.
