birdHanada Yuuichirou, Ono Atsuko

It’s a song about birds that can’t fly.
Ostriches, penguins, and chickens have wings, but they can’t soar through the sky.
Still, this song isn’t a lament about being unable to fly; it teaches us that even though we’re not all the same, each of us can live happily just as we are.
People, too, each have different appearances and personalities, but that’s not something strange or wrong—and that’s the message I want to share through this song.
glitter-sparkle-ponHanada Yuuichirou, Nagata Maya

This is the ending theme that was changed with the start of the 2022 series “Fantane!”.
It’s a bit sad that the hand gates and tunnels created by the show’s beloved characters since its inception have officially been removed.
A standout feature is the sign-language choreography that matches the lyrics, which adds a solid educational element in addition to the song’s fun.
The relaxed rhythm is also pleasant, and it’s a piece that invites listeners to savor the message while encouraging large, expressive movements.
The Counting Tengu has arrived.yokoyama daisuke

It’s the song that the Counting Tengu sings when he appears in the “Counting Tengu” segment, played by the main singer on the show.
On the program and at concerts they only sing one chorus, but a full version was included as a bonus track on the 2015 best-of CD “Ohisamarch.”
I’m here.Hanada Yuuichirou, Ono Atsuko

It’s a song about how the moon is invisible at noon and the sun is invisible at night, but “even if you can’t see them, they’re always there.” At the end of the lyrics, the moon and the sun turn into friends.
It makes you happy to think that friends are always by your side, doesn’t it?

Sorry, green pepper.Shigemori Ayumi

This is a song sung by Porori, the character played by Takashi Nakao, in the puppet show “Niko Niko Pun” from Okaasan to Issho.
The song has continued to be performed on the program even after “Niko Niko Pun” ended.
Porori dislikes green peppers so much that he faints just from hearing the name.
In the song, he nearly collapses, but he’s trying his best to make friends with green peppers.
Norimaki Pera Pari OndoHanada Yuuichirou, Nagata Maya

Nori (seaweed) that comes in super handy when making everyone’s favorites—rice balls and sushi rolls.
We’ve turned that beloved norimaki into a cheerful bon-odori-style tune.
It’s a unique “Norimaki Pera-Pari Ondo” that everyone can enjoy dancing to at bon dances, school plays, and recitals.
The choreography includes moves like rolling a sushi roll, and it’s packed with fun sound effects.
It’s also great fun to shout out call-and-response together.
Learn the choreography with friends and family, and let’s get into the groove and dance the “Norimaki Pera-Pari Ondo”!
A Drop of StarHanada Yuuichirou, Ono Atsuko

The monthly children’s song feature “Song of the Month” for July 2021 is Hoshi no Hitoshizuku (A Drop of Star).
Written and composed by steel pan player Tonchi, this song has a soothing steel pan sound and is sung as a duet by Yuichiro Oniisan and Atsuko Oneesan.
The dance gently sways like the melody—yura~ yura~—so even little kids can relax and move along to the music.
It’s popular with children, of course, but especially with moms, making it a great pick for parents and kids to enjoy together.
