SHANK Popular Songs Ranking [2026]
A three-piece rock band formed in Nagasaki in 2004.
The origin of the band’s name comes from when they initially played ska-punk and called themselves “SKANK” (SKA + PUNK), but drummer Yuki Ikemoto misread it as “SHANK,” and the name stuck.
Here’s a ranking of some of their most emotional and popular songs!

SHANK’s Most Popular Songs Ranking [2026] (51–60)
There You’ll BeSHANK51rank/position

Their usual rock sound has each part playing with many intricate moves, a sense that keeps listeners from getting bored.
You could simply call it a fun rock sound.
I’m looking forward to their career so far and the possibilities ahead.
The fans are looking forward to it as well.
Tonight the Streets Are OursSHANK52rank/position

It’s not just about momentum—this is a track brimming with expansiveness and exhilaration.
Featured on the December 2013 album “Baitfish Attitude,” this song is a cover of an original by British singer-songwriter Richard Hawley, rearranged brilliantly by SHANK into a melodic hardcore style.
Carrying a message of fearless feeling and the sense that tonight this town is ours, Shohei Ihara’s clear, soaring vocals deliver it with power.
Among an album packed with intense melodic hardcore, this track brings a positive sense of release.
Its breezy rhythm makes you want to race through the city, and it’s full of the kind of appeal that makes you want to sing along with everyone at a live show.
Tree of LifeSHANK53rank/position

I thought they really like that kind of image.
Even if there are similar songs, not a single one is the same—that’s the impression I got.
I also think they have numbers that make you want to shout along with catchy, nonsensical English.
It really lifts everyone’s spirits, doesn’t it?

With the sprinting feel of the chorus and the ska-like vibe in the second verse’s A-melody, it really feels like a song made to hype up the crowd live.
The music video has a floor-live atmosphere, with fans surrounding the band as they perform, and it looks like everyone’s having a great time.

Shohei’s vocals in the intro section with just bass and vocals are absolutely wonderful.
The moment when it slams on the brakes as it shifts from the energetic intro into the first verse, with the bass drum hitting four times, is a heart-stopping, goosebump-inducing highlight.
Weather Is BeautifulSHANK56rank/position

I was hooked on this song within the first three seconds.
It grabs you right from the start.
Among SHANK’s tracks, this is one of my personal favorites.
Dropping it down in the C section, then going half-time, and finally hitting a two-beat for the big chorus—the flow is insanely cool.
time is…SHANK57rank/position

This song, included as the fourth track on the album “Tiny Square Room.” From the guitar’s bridge-muted parts and the vocal section, it surges into an intense B-melody and then the chorus.
The tempo isn’t particularly fast, but the song overflows with power.
Feeling for my wordsSHANK58rank/position

It gives an easy-listening, mid-tempo impression.
Being punk doesn’t mean it’s all about intense energy.
Since they’re a band, their live performances leave a stronger impression than the recordings.
If you get the chance, definitely go see them!
