Recitation of pi

Pi Song POWER UP: Let's memorize 71 digits of pi! 3.141592…
Recitation of pi

This is a pi song sung to the melody of the folk dance classic “Mayim Mayim.” You can memorize 71 digits of pi with this song.

Pi is basically a string of numbers, which can be hard to remember as is.

But if you learn it together with a song that every student has heard at least once, it’ll stick more easily.

It’s a simple bit where you just sing, but being able to recite 71 digits of pi will impress anyone.

How about performing it while dancing along to the song as well?

I tried becoming a historical figure.

Too freaking hard lol — a science nerd’s impressions of historical figures were absolute garbage lol
I tried becoming a historical figure.

How about performing a quiz themed around famous historical figures as a quick gag? You could crawl around on all fours shouting “Tsuyoshi!” to portray Tsuyoshi Inukai, or clap your hands quietly with a distant look to portray Kim Jong Un.

Picture the person’s name and traits, and use your body and facial expressions to represent them.

The way you act it out will look pretty funny to the audience, so I think it’ll become a one-shot joke that makes people laugh while they enjoy the quiz.

Original song – Viva Bebop – Kuro

While saying, “Legs are growing out,” you mime pulling legs out of your body.

After you’ve pulled out six legs, you say, “Six legs… ASICS!” to get a laugh.

It’s a pun on “ashi” (legs) and “six,” landing on the sports brand.

Anyone who knows ASICS might see the punchline coming, but that’s exactly why the joke is easy for everyone to get.

If you perform it while wearing ASICS shoes, it ties the setup and payoff together and might get an even bigger laugh.

Original song – Kubota Dash – Kubota Dash 🏃‍♂️💨

Here’s a one-shot gag that uses rock-paper-scissors—something every student has done.

Start by playing normally with “Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!” Then make it a tie.

After saying “Aiko de…” (tie-break), say “xiao long bao,” bring both palms together above your head, and shape them like a soup dumpling.

Next, say “from below, bang bang ji,” stand at attention, and move upward from below.

It might help to imagine a startled chicken.

The key is to open your eyes wide at the end.

5 nostalgic rhythm gags#ComedyComedianRhythm skitNostalgic

Honnō-ji Incident – Explosions

Rhythm-based bits are a staple of one-shot gags.

Here, we’ll introduce five well-known, nostalgic rhythm routines: “Honnoji no Hen,” “Attakaindakara,” “Rassun Gorerai,” “Dancing Fisshon Tribe,” and “Atarimae Taiso.” They all involve using your body, so performing them should be fun.

However, some can’t be done solo, so try those with friends who love comedy.

Many of today’s elementary school kids might not know these routines, so they could actually feel fresh and new.

♪ Original Song – An Obvious Secret Talk – An Obvious Secret Talk

A two-person one-shot gag.

The setting is a track sprint.

One person plays the runner, the other is the starter.

The starter says, “Ready, go,” and the runner takes off—but then the starter continues, “—is what I’d say before you start.” As the runner tries to stop, the starter adds, “You’ve already started.” The runner keeps getting jerked around, which is hilarious to watch.

If you perform it in perfect sync, it’s guaranteed to hype up the crowd!

Two outfits and a stomachache

♬ Original song – Yuuki – I Can Walk on Stilts

It’s a gag where you step forward asking, “What hurts?” and, while showing two pieces of clothing, you say “stomachache.” The joke hinges on the Japanese pun: two is ‘tsū,’ which sounds like ‘fukutsū’ (stomachache).

Since you only need two garments, you can pull it off anytime—just borrow a friend’s jacket if needed.

The content is simple, so you can perform it for anyone.

However, it’s a very short gag, so it’s crucial to deliver it briskly and with confidence.

When you say the punchline—‘stomachache’—show no embarrassment; strike a funny pose and declare it with flair!

How animals walkHarukara

YouTube Meister: “I tried a bit that kids would love.”
How animals walk Harukara

Animal-themed jokes unexpectedly go over well with kids.

This one-shot gag of walking styles is perfect especially for lower-grade elementary schoolers! Since the animals—like “rabbit,” “gorilla,” and “horse”—are ones everyone knows, they can pretty much imagine how they’d walk when you say it.

But what matters is how you make it funny! For example, a horse strutting on two legs like a runway model and finishing with a smug face and a loud “neigh,” or a cute rabbit hop that ends with an over-the-top funny face.

They’re all simple gags anyone can copy!

one-shot gagKojisaru

Kojisack has a new gag! — For those of you who haven’t laughed lately —
one-shot gag Kojisak

Yuta Kajiwara from King Kong has a YouTube channel called “Kajisac’s Room.” Kojisac is Kajiwara’s second son, who also appears in videos on the channel.

Even though he’s still in elementary school, he shows off his own gags and is apparently respected among comedians.

In this video, comedians bring their own gags and perform them, hoping to get Kojisac to try them out.

You can also see how well these gags land with an elementary schooler like Kojisac, so if you’re working on one-liner gags, this might be a great reference!

Playboy BossJaruJaru

100 Million Views Special! Serious Skit! “The Guy They Call the Playboy Boss” [JARUJARUTOWER]
Playboy Boss JaruJaru

JaruJaru has won numerous comedy awards for their sketches and manzai.

Their skits, which unfold in a one-of-a-kind world, have a solid reputation.

Among their routines, the one that really lands with elementary school kids is “Chara-guy Boss.” They combine everyday “relatable” situations and people’s names with the word “chara-guy” (a flirty, flashy guy).

The bit features a signature phrase at both the beginning and the end.

Try it with snappy choreography and outfits that evoke a flashy, flirty guy.

Project your voice and keep a serious face—you’ll get even bigger laughs.
