Here’s an idea for making a snowman with two sheets of origami paper.

You’ll need two sheets of white origami paper, round stickers, a pen, and glue.

First, take one sheet and fold it into a triangle twice, then fold all the corners inward toward the center.

Fold the corners inward again to round out the shape.

Next, use the other sheet to fold the body.

Be careful—it’s folded differently from the first sheet! Finally, use the round stickers and a pen to draw the face, and you’re done! The key point of this idea is that using two sheets makes the folding steps easier to understand.

Here’s an idea for making a snowman and a kamakura (snow hut) out of origami.

If you make the snowman small, you can place it inside the kamakura for display.

For the snowman, start by placing the origami paper like a diamond, with the white side facing up.

Next, fold the bottom corner up to the center to crease it, unfold, then fold again by aligning the corner to the crease you just made.

After making one more wrap fold on the same section, flip the paper over and fold the remaining corner to the center.

The colored part will become the hat, and the remaining white area will be the snowman’s face and body.

From here, fold the corners and edges, using pleat folds as needed to shape the snowman.

For the kamakura, fold the corners and edges inward little by little along the creases to form the structure.

[Christmas Origami] Easy and Cute Snowman Made with One Sheet of Origami / How to Fold an Origami Snowman

Here’s an idea for a snowman with a hat and a scarf.

You’ll make it in two parts—hat and head, scarf and body.

Use two sheets of origami paper, each 15 × 7.5 cm.

We’ll start with the head, so place the paper vertically.

Fold the bottom edge up to about four-thirds of the overall height, then fold about 1 cm back down, and fold back up about 5 mm.

Turn the paper over, fold the left and right edges to meet at the center, then squash the pocketed sections into triangles.

The opened area will be the face and the remaining red area will be the hat, so shape the face into a circle and the hat into a triangle.

For the body, fold about 1 cm along one short edge to make the scarf section, then fold the paper in half so the scarf shows on the front.

With the scarf at the top, turn the paper over and fold the top left and right corners diagonally inward.

Finally, round off the lower white section to complete the body.

Glue the parts together and draw the face to finish.
