hydrangea

Let's make glossy hydrangeas! The materials are super eco-friendly! How to make transparent hydrangea
hydrangea

Let’s try making hydrangeas—often seen during the rainy season—using plastic bottles.

You will need plastic bottles, beads, wire, scissors, a utility knife, a thumbtack, and a candle.

Use the flat middle section of the plastic bottle after cutting it open.

Cut it into 1 cm by 1 cm squares, then make four slits in each piece.

For the center of the petals, use the thumbtack to make two holes.

Lightly heat the petals over the candle, then insert a wire threaded with beads through the holes.

Make several flowers like this, then combine the petals to resemble hydrangeas, and you’re done.

Making many of them will look very decorative.

Cut a plastic bottle to the height you want for your piggy bank, then cut a bottom lid out of cardboard and reinforce the lid with colored construction paper and vinyl tape.

Next, cut a slit with a utility knife where the money will go in, decorate it freely with beads and other items, and you’re done! Be careful when using the utility knife.

Using cute patterned masking tape or stickers might make it even nicer.

kaleidoscope

Let’s make a kaleidoscope that expands into a sparkling view when you peer into the tube, using the shape of a plastic bottle.

You’ll look into the bottle through a hole made in the cap, and the parts inside will add motion to the view.

The contents are finely cut pieces of the plastic bottle; if you color them with markers, the view will shift through a variety of hues.

You can adjust the lighting by how you hold the bottle, and it’s also recommended to line the inside with paper to make the colors appear even more vivid.

Terrarium

We’re introducing how to make a terrarium using a plastic bottle that’s soothing just to look at.

First, prepare a paper cup and a small plant of your choice to put inside.

Place the plant in the paper cup, put it into the plastic bottle, close the cap, and wrap twine around the bottle.

It’s safer to secure the twine with glue or similar so it doesn’t loosen.

In no time, your plastic-bottle terrarium is complete! It’s also fun to decorate the bottle with your favorite designs.

It’s easy, so give it a try!

Hair accessory

Let me introduce some stylish hair accessories made using plastic bottles.

You can shape the plastic into flowers and leaves.

Once you’ve shaped your piece and added color, your cute hair accessory is complete! One of the charms of handmade items is that you can get creative—making them small or large to suit your purpose and choosing whatever colors you like.

Be sure to try making your own original hair accessories!

That’s basically it—then add your own design and decorate it to make it cute.

You’ll have a one-of-a-kind, adorable cosmetics bag! It can be used for various purposes, such as storing small items or accessories.

Be careful not to burn yourself when using the iron.

[Christmas Craft] Let's Make a Snowman with a Plastic Bottle!
snowman

These snowman ornaments made from plastic bottles are perfect as Christmas decor or gifts.

We use Calpis Water bottles, making the most of the white contents while adding decorations like a hat, ribbon, and facial features.

Although we chose this drink to take advantage of its white color, using an empty bottle will let you enjoy it longer as interior decor.

If you make it with an empty bottle, we recommend using a rounder-shaped bottle to emphasize the snowman look.

Tree

Tree

Only 4 materials! Let’s make a cute tree using an LED strip, a plastic bottle, a toilet paper roll, and sparkly decorations.

Make a hole in the bottom of the plastic bottle and put the LED strip and the sparkly decorations inside.

Insert the toilet paper roll so that the LED strip passes through the inside of the roll.

Once you glue the roll in place with a hot glue gun, turn on the lights and you’re done! It’s simple, but you’ll have a warm, glittering tree! It’s also lovely to turn off the room lights and switch on the tree.

wind chime

Plastic bottle craft [Wind Chime] How to make it: summer vacation project ♪ Two methods (top and bottom) ◇ DIY pet bottle 'wind bell' easy tutorial
wind chime

Here are two ways to make wind chimes by cutting both the top and bottom parts of a plastic bottle.

Cut a round plastic bottle horizontally and cover the cut edge with tape.

For the bell part of the wind chime, all you need is a strip of paper (tanzaku), a small bell, and some string.

Thread the bell onto the string and tie on the tanzaku.

You can choose any pattern you like for the tanzaku to make it cute.

Then simply thread the string through the wind chime and you’re done! You can make adorable wind chimes using either the top or bottom part of the bottle.

They’re easy to make, so give it a try! Just be careful when cutting the plastic bottle.

After cutting a plastic bottle in half, make small vertical slits in it with scissors.

Open the slit sections outward, then attach cute little flowers made from toilet paper to the tips.

Make a flower stand as well, and once you combine it with the flowers you just made using the plastic bottle, it’s complete! In the video, we used a regular-size bottle, but using a smaller bottle to make a mini bouquet might also look cute.

It’s fun, so give it a try!
