Let’s make a little apple-shaped container.

You’ll need two plastic bottles, scissors, a utility knife, a ruler, a pen, green acrylic paint, a paintbrush, a hot glue gun, and green construction paper.

On the first bottle, draw a line all the way around about 8 cm up from the bottom; on the second bottle, draw a line about 4 cm up from the bottom.

Cut along the lines with scissors or a utility knife.

Trim the cut edges flat with scissors.

The larger piece will be the bottom, and the smaller piece will be the lid.

Cut leaf shapes from the leftover bottle plastic and paint them green.

Once dry, use a hot glue gun to attach the leaves to a stem made by rolling up the construction paper, and then glue the stem onto the lid.

You’re done! The see-through look is super cute.

Let’s make a transparent, cool-looking floral wreath.

You’ll need a plastic bottle, scissors, wire, beads, a candle, and a pin vise.

Use the middle section of the plastic bottle.

Cut it out and flatten it.

Cut it into 1 cm by 1 cm squares, then trim them into flower shapes.

Make two small holes in the center, and lightly warm the flowers over a candle to give them a rounded shape.

Thread your favorite beads through the center with wire, and your cute flowers are done.

With about 60 flowers, you can make a mini wreath about 11 cm in diameter.

Adding color makes it even cuter!

Let’s make a round, plump lantern using a plastic bottle! Cut vertical slits from the top to the bottom of the plastic bottle.

Use scissors or a utility knife to make the cuts.

Be careful not to cut all the way through at the top and bottom.

Once you’ve finished cutting, insert a balloon through the bottle’s mouth and inflate it.

Tie the balloon, then screw the bottle cap back on.

If you make a hole in the cap and thread a string through it at this point, you can attach a handle later.

Finally, decorate the outside with your favorite stickers, and it’s done!

This is a vibrant wall-hanging decoration that makes use of the distinctive roundness of plastic bottles.

First, cut the bottles into various sizes, and for safety, round off the cut edges by lightly heating them with a lighter.

Then freely decorate each piece with paint, connect them with clips, and set them up to hang—that’s it.

While the decorations are up to you, we recommend using colors from the same family and similar patterns to create a cohesive overall look.

Bringing unity to the irregular shapes helps enhance the festive appeal of the decoration.

It might also be cute to draw pictures on the planter container.

This will make your home gardening even more enjoyable.

Let’s try making hydrangeas—often seen during the rainy season—using plastic bottles.

You will need plastic bottles, beads, wire, scissors, a utility knife, a thumbtack, and a candle.

Use the flat middle section of the plastic bottle after cutting it open.

Cut it into 1 cm by 1 cm squares, then make four slits in each piece.

For the center of the petals, use the thumbtack to make two holes.

Lightly heat the petals over the candle, then insert a wire threaded with beads through the holes.

Make several flowers like this, then combine the petals to resemble hydrangeas, and you’re done.

Making many of them will look very decorative.

pencil case

pencil case

This is a pencil case made by using a plastic bottle as the base and adding various decorations.

Since it takes advantage of the bottle’s cylindrical shape, one of its big appeals is its stability—it won’t tip over even when you put pens in it.

After cutting off the top of the bottle, the process is simple: just decorate it however you like.

Use fabric or wrapping paper to wrap and embellish the bottle.

When using it as a pencil case, attaching a lid is key; simply connecting the body and the lid with a zipper can make it look almost store-bought.

It’s also recommended to use packaging from products you like to create a pencil case that feels even more like your own.
