Karaoke songs that are easy to sing, even for those who aren’t confident at singing, recommended for teenage girls

Recently, with the rise of high-voiced male vocalists, it’s become an even tougher world for tone-deaf women when it comes to singing.

In particular, women who can’t hit high notes are probably having quite a hard time.

Of course, vocal range matters, but even more important is whether you’re choosing the right key for yourself.

With that technical point in mind, this time I’ve selected easy-to-sing songs I’d recommend for teenage girls.

Karaoke songs that are easy to sing even for those who struggle with singing, recommended for teenage girls (71–80)

DarlingNishino Kana

Kana Nishino 'Darling' MV (Short Ver.)
DarlingNishino Kana

Released in 2014 as Kana Nishino’s 24th single.

It was used as the Tuesday theme song for Fuji TV’s “Mezamashi TV,” and it marked her first country-style track.

At the 56th Japan Record Awards, it won the Excellence Award.

Among Kana Nishino’s songs, the key isn’t very high, making it relatively easy to sing.

LOVEMACO

Released in 2015 as MACO’s debut single.

Lyrics and composition were handled by MACO, and the song overflows with the joy and butterflies of dating the person you love for the first time, along with the wish to stay together forever.

It conveys a girl’s happiness, making it a song you’ll want to sing with heartfelt emotion.

Make you happyNiziU

NiziU 『Make you happy』 M/V
Make you happyNiziU

A single by the girl idol group NiziU, released in June 2020.

They even performed it at that year’s NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen.

It’s an adorable, upbeat song that’s very idol-like, so giving it some fussy analysis here would be pretty pointless.

Don’t worry about whether you’re good at singing or not—just sing it with your friends and have fun! Some people might find the key a bit high, so keep that in mind when you pick it at karaoke.

Sentimental Kiss (Acoustic ver.)Shio Reira

Sentimental Kiss (Acoustic ver.)Shio Reira

Reira Ushio is a female singer-songwriter popular among women in their teens and early twenties.

Her pure, crystal-clear voice leaves a strong impression.

Among her songs, the one I especially recommend to teenage girls is Sentimental Kiss (Acoustic ver.).

Being an acoustic version, it has a calm overall atmosphere.

Since there’s no use of head voice, it should be easy to sing even if you don’t have a voice as pure as hers.

Happy electrificationpoppu shinanai de

Happy electrificationpoppu shinanai de

The band ‘Pops Shinanaide’ is known for their music that emphasizes a unique worldview.

They’re recognized for electronic-style composition, and their sound—mechanical yet fantastical and dreamlike—has earned high acclaim.

Among their songs, the one I especially recommend is ‘Kōfukuna Tsūden’ (Happy Conduction).

Because vocalist Ayako Kamegai has a high timbre, the song might seem high overall, but its range is actually very narrow, so anyone can sing it easily if they adjust it to a suitable key.

Don’t cheat on me.Koresawa

Don't cheat on me.Koresawa

Koresawa, a female singer-songwriter known for lyrics that stir romantic feelings, has gained widespread popularity.

If you’re a woman in your twenties, chances are you’ve sung or listened to her songs at least once.

Among her tracks, the one I especially recommend is “Uwaki Shitara Akan de” (“Don’t You Dare Cheat”).

Although it has a pop feel, it actually has a very narrow vocal range, making it easy for any woman to sing.

And because each phrase is short, you won’t miss your cue after taking a breath.

First Love Killernozomi

Noashi (noa) – First Love Killer [Official Music Video]
First Love Killernozomi

Singer-songwriter Noashi, who has gained popularity with her offbeat melodies and lyrics that resonate strongly with women.

She’s known for her genreless musical style, releasing songs with a different vibe from her previous work each time.

Speaking of her signature tracks, wouldn’t it be “Hatsukoi Killer” (First Love Killer)? While the song carries a slightly retro, Showa-era feel, its fresh production keeps it from sounding outdated.

The vocals incorporate some rap, and because the range is very narrow, it’s exceptionally easy to sing.

It also goes over well at karaoke, so consider adding it to your repertoire.
